A red light halts the city. Engines hum. Eyes glaze. Time pauses.

But in the stillness : movement. A figure steps forward, squeegee in hand.
A hustle ignites, right there, between the red and green.

WINDOW WASHER by @vysanvinea is a collision of tension and rhythm. A collection born from the grind that happens in the margins. Inspired by the street-side window washers, this show reframes the split-second exchange between paused drivers and pressing hustlers.

Thrifted fabrics, high-end scraps, and lived-in textures are torn down and rebuilt with urgency. Polynesian motifs thread their way through streetwear silhouettes; updated, unapologetic, unmissable. Each piece is a protest, a presence, a perception shift.

This is fashion in motion. Fast impressions. Quick looks. Sharp meaning.

Rooted in social study, drama, truth, and stitched with purpose from the pressure of the in-between.

Tonight, the light turns red.
The hustle begins.

this is the script i moulded the collection from.
the video starts with a red light ….. and the duration of this video all happens during the red light to which the ending is the green light . revealing to us as the audience … the length of time that happens inbetween the red and green light and what can happen inbetween. by @vysanvinea

usually the mood board lays the foundation as to what the collection is built upon.

When i stopped at a red light as a driver…. i observed the environment that the window washer hustles in. what colours do i see , textures , fonts etc.

These are just a few observations that further emphasise the hustle that happens between the red and green light by @vysanvinea
