I am obsessed about anything that to do with the harp🪉 . Here is where I share my journey on bringing the soothing sound of harp music to more people.

More relaxation events for the next two months! I must be crazy but when I hear people say how such events give them a rare opportunity to relax and soak up music, it really motivates me to keep going! #relax #therapeuticmusic #harp by @vytran_harp

I’m so proud to be the owner of this #Sonnet lap harp from @harpkit. She is absolutely amazing, she sounds like a floor harp and yet, so light. The harp is well made, lovely and smooth Cherry wood, Camac levers are of course easy to flip on and off. As I’m used to the pedal Harps tension, it takes me a while to adjust to the Sonnet’s tension, as I don’t want to sound too loud for therapy harp music. She also holds the pitch really well as well.
Here is a little video of me documenting my “un-boxing” experience 😂
I’m so happy with my choice and I can’t wait to take this little beauty on the road to hospitals, hospices, farms, and many places where people and animals in need can benefit from calming and soothing music.
Many thanks to @saltireharpcentre for helping me with the whole process, from finding the harp that suits my needs to ensuring the harp get to my house safely. I know they just turned 1 year old and I wish them many more years of success. They are a great addition to the harp community. If you are looking to buy a new harp, do check them out.#harp #therapyharp #lapharp #harpist by @vytran_harp

I did it! I held a relaxing live harp music event! And it went so well! I’m so thankful that people came to hear me play, despite the rain! It was so hard moving my pedal harp, Aurelia. But the sound she made in that hall was just so beautiful. I can’t wait to do more! by @vytran_harp

Learning how to play music beautifully is a journey, and that journey is quite bumpy 😂.
A BTS of what went through my mind when I tried to go through a piece to examine areas of improvement! Painful but useful! Sonatina by G F Handel #harplearning #harp #Egerieharp by @vytran_harp

So I’m making a jump here…as I’m going to organise my very own event in September, offering a relaxing evening with live harp music!

This is something I have been thinking about a lot. There are many reasons not to do, but my heart asks me: “Why not?”. So I’m just going to do it and see where this takes me. At the end of the day, I get to share peaceful harp music with people and give them an hour of rest and peace. I think that will be a worthwhile Friday evening!

If you are around and interested in this event, send me an email to secure your space! by @vytran_harp

Me in 2026 and me in 2025, playing at the Leamington Spa Competitive festival. I still can’t believe that this year, I was awarded Distinction for all three pieces. Last year, I was given Moderate for my efforts. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m glad all my efforts are paid off. My performance is no where perfect, but I have improved so many elements in my playing. I’m grateful for all the help I have from my harp teacher @behind_the_harp and support from @howtoharp teacher and tutor @heatherdownieharpist & @angelaborastonharp . Can’t wait for next year! by @vytran_harp

Not long ago, I recorded this piece of music, called Song from a secret garden. I didn’t think it was good enough, but today hearing it again while it’s raining outside, somehow it feels right to the ears.
I hope you also enjoy listening to this song. It will sound better if you have your headphone on.
This arrangement is from Hello Harp, played on #egerieharp by @camac_harps by @vytran_harp

My second composition for #harp. I haven’t come up with a title yet. But my inspiration came from a scene in a movie, where a girl- from a slum in Hongkong- got her lollipop taken by her very dear friend, because he couldn’t help himself from taking what looked so delicious and beautiful. This piece of music is about the girl’s emotions- feeling disbelieved, betrayed, and moving on from the pain of losing her friend. by @vytran_harp

Sometimes I feel the sound I create is tense, and I wonder if I will ever be good enough at playing the harp. But playing is so therapeutic, and I just want to keep going.
Here is a new song that makes me feel so calm, I hope you enjoy too. Calm wind by Angela Klohn.

A quick video of a classic song! Unfaithful by #Rihanna. Who knows this song sounds so good on the harp! There is no harp arrangement for this song, so I’m using a very easy piano version at the moment and will even simplify the left hand later on to make it work. Wish me luck, everyone! by @vytran_harp

So lucky to be able to have my fingers on those magnificent pedal harps at the #Camacharpweekend. Such a fantastic event and I would recommend any harp enthusiasts to attend, a great place to immerse in the harp world. @telynauviningharps by @vytran_harp

This song is called The Fisherman, part of the Fisherman’s suite by @dieterdewilde . Still need more work on tempo, articulation and accuracy. But it’s ok, imperfection motivates us to continue to explore.
Hope you all enjoy this song. #harp #harpstudent by @vytran_harp
