“We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us, and as we let our own night, shine to give other people permission to do the same.”

The process behind our Akeelah and the Bee piece. 🤍
@heyyceejay and I built the choreography around Akeelah’s words, then taught it to the girls and let the feeling lead. One studio, one hour, and a lot of power in the room.

Thanks to @blinkstudio_s for the dope location!!!

Can’t wait to show y’all what we created with these beautiful ladies.

@heyyceejay and I Choreographed to the scene in AKEELAH AND THE BEE where young Akeelah ( @keke )reads that our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We let her words lead every movement. 🤍

Thanks to @blinkstudio_s for the dope location!!!
