“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders... and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” - Hebrews 12:1

Since I was a little girl, you’ve always been there for me. No matter how busy life got or how much you worked, you never hesitated to stop what you were doing just to show up for me. You loved hard, cared deeply, and made everyone around you feel important. Junior was loved by everyone because he gave love so freely.
One thing you always said was that me, my sister, and my cousins would be your flower girls when you got married. Even when I got older and looked at you like you were crazy for still saying it, you never stopped. At the time, I didn’t realize how special those words would become to me.
You came to every graduation, every important moment, every milestone. So graduating with my Master’s degree without you physically here has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to experience. I’ve carried this grief for a long time, and some days it still doesn’t feel real. But I will continue to honor you, not only because of everything you’ve done for me, but because I truly believe you became a part of my purpose. Everything I do moving forward carries a piece of you with it. I love you. I miss you. And I will forever be your flower girl🤍💐 #longlivejunior🕊️#JUNIORFOREVER💙
