In only 3 months, we have been through some of our darkest moments but there is always still light because we have eachother♡

Wade underwent his 6th brain surgery and were told some unimaginable things regarding his diagnosis. We are learning how to continue picking ourselves back up so that we won't be robbed by the moments we have together. We continue to try and remain hopeful and focused on our goal to have Wade overcome this. We are teaching our girls that we never give up on anything, that we are strong and can do hard things. We are not only teaching them about the importance of living in the present but also teaching ourselves.

We started a family vision board where we write all of the things we want to do together. Most of the girls requests are are simple and involve play ♡ We have done most of our families wishes such as going to the aquarium, going to a Canucks game, renewing our vows, getting family photos done (Ava's request) and getting ice cream (Georgia's request).

The other night we were talking to Ava and Georgia about Wades cancer journey and everything he's been through over the past 12 years. Ava referred to him as a 'legend' and she is right, he really is a legend. We asked her what helps her getting through this journey and she explained taking her deep breaths in and out whenever she is stressed. I didn't realize this but it is something she now does all on her own even when she is at school. Ava went on to explain how living with cancer can be hard but we still have a lot of love and fun together, we play lots of games and all that matters is that we have eachother♡

Wade and I looked at eachother in awe and just feel so relieved knowing their perspectives on all of this is still positive and includes love and happiness. It really is all we could ask for in this circumstance and will continue giving our girls happy memories they can forever hold with not only their Daddy but together as a family♡

I had my 5th re-occurrence of brain cancer, with almost 4 years being cancer free. Now, I am back fighting for my life once again. But on those 4 years, I found out that I, too, can get life insurance coverage.

$350,000 worth of life insurance coverage to be exact. It is not too significant with the rising cost of inflation, but at least it gives my family peace of mind.

I will beat this deadly disease. There is no doubt in my mind. In the meantime, I want to help out as many people as I can find about this coverage I have found.

Well, here we go again. I underwent my 5th brain surgery. This time around, it was to focus on getting a sample of the tumor so we could get a pathology report to determine what we are now dealing with.

The report said my tumour is now considered a grade 4. 😞 That means I must go back on chemotherapy for a time that is unknown. It is what it is. Ill beat it again, no doubt in my mind. Especially, with the support that I have already received in the short time that has gone.

I am planning to continue educating people the information I wish I knew prior to getting sick. My partner and I at Camlife will be available to help assist you and your loved ones with life insurance, disability insurance and critical illness insurance because once again, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMRORROW WILL BRING!!

Unfortunately, I never had critical illness insurance which could have helped my family financially during this time. I hope my story can raise awareness on obtaining the proper protection you should consider for yourself and your loved ones as the truth of the matter is, no one is invincible.

I also plan to share my journey as I fight this battle. There is so much information that we have learned on our own previously that is important to share with cancer patients, care givers and loved ones. Knowledge gives us power and so does hope. If you are single, married, have kids, the only time to get Life Insurance is now!!!
.
If you are single and have no family, critical illness is for you. Say you took out $100,000 and you survive for 30 days with an illness, like cancer, you get a lump some tax-free, cash payment of $100,000. That would be take care of your rent or mortgage for the foreseeable future. 🤒
.
If you are married, life insurance is for you! For instance, one of you passes away, the other can pay off your mortgage. 🏠
.
If you have kiddos, then CI return of premium for children is for you. Return of premium means that you get back 75% of the un-claimed policy. Say you sign the child up at 5 and they don't suffer an illness until they are 18 (adult). You can get the 75% of the cash and put it towards their post secondary, help them out with a down payment on their first home or pay for them to travel . 🗺

We know most people will make it to retirement without suffering a major illness, but if you one of the unlucky ones, what happens now? What if you get cancer?

Pass on the risk to an insurance company. They will take care of the critical illness recovery benefit. This is a tax-free lump some payment to cover any unforseen expenses!

If you survive the big three, cancer, heart attack, or stroke, you get a lump sum tax-free! (There are many other covered conditions, however, these are the most common that people will claim on.) The best thing about this policy is, if you are healthy and you don't have to claim, you get all the premiums back! 💵

There is no other insurance product that allows you to receive all of your premiums back if you don't use it! 💰
