WagwanJC's Mixup - Simple Programming - Minimal House x Techno Mix

First mix drop of the new year.

I'll always try something new and lately I've wanted to explore a lot of what my friends have playing and found an appreciation for more slower and methodical sounds.

I'll rewrite the description to best covay my intentions with this mix

-

i wanted to make mix for my friends whenever theyre in a khole at the afters so i after new years i was fighting for my life as the skag slowly crept in and as bioproduct this mix was made to show how it feels to be stuck in the hole

my 3ds saved me

-

All love to those who support me and shout out to those who are paralyzed at the afters.

More mixes are coming soon and something special upcoming this week as well

Halloween 25 👑

Words can't describe how much it meant to me to do something on Halloween Night. Not being able to do it a year ago stung me and I wanted to make sure this one was given it's fair go at it.

And fuck me was it more than what I expected it to be. Everyone in Galway came out to dance with us and I genuinely can't be more grateful.

I'm done doing raves for the rest of the year, I wanna leave on high note and focus on my exams coming up.

Peace and love to everyone who helped me out with DNYS this past year (too many to mention lol) and everyone who came to our shows. There's always gonna be another rave around every other week by some talented and dedicated promoters.

But now imma take a breather, I did what I set to do a year ago and I'm so happy to do with some cool af folks.

Also the cheeky b2b with The Don, @mijosanchez_ was really fun to spin a few tunes under the bridge.

Shoutout @_psylo from @bonvoyage_collective for helping me as well with the set up of for this Halloween.

Act announcement -

@wagwanjc grew up on 90s hard house, but it was a string of hard style festivals across Central Europe in his early twenties that pushed him behind the decks himself. For over two years, he's been a driving force in Galway's underground rave scene through his collective DIONYSUS, and is now taking his sound beyond the city into venues across Ireland.

Genre-fluid by nature, he weaves between Deep House, Groove, and Bounce depending on the night. Influenced by Solomun, Sticky Pages, Kirk, and NI-21, WAGWAN brings the raw pulse of the underground to every set.

You catch him playing at our techno event in @fibber.magees.galway on October 10! taken in Fibber Magees by @wagwanjc

Highlights from our last trip in @Electricgalway April 30th

What a sweet set with @Bielllanos_ and @Wagwanjc as they keep factory beating with sounds of groove and bounce.

We are always so privileged to come back every time in Electric and we want to send love to the crowd who danced with us.

We’re excited to be back soon again and we have something late night in stored for next weekend with some of our friends in Galway.

Shoutout to @Laurens_lenz for truly capturing the energy of the night and the frequency the two DJs displayed.

See ye soon

wagwan guys

im a bit late to post this but wanna share a few pics of myself at KAØTEK that @laurengrant_art took while we and the galway rave community took our underground raves to the mountains.

love to everyone who took part and played at KAØTEK, we made so many memories and ever since i feel so bonded in camaraderie as we all share the same motive.

summer is over and the raves aren't gonna last forever as the colder months are soon approaching but we've been so motivated to do as many shows as frequently as possible before the temperature drops.

organizing an underground festival was never on my mind when first started off as DJ and genuinely never felt so blessed and lucky that an opportunity like this was even offered.

i'm still buzzing thinking back to KAØTEK, so many awesome DJs, characters and conversations in what felt like such a short weekend.

never been so impressed and inspired by the production in any other rave and i wanna do shows in my grander scale in the future.

my first ever festival and it was one that was built by team work and a shared love of music.

all love 💜

Final shots from our most stylish event yet 📸

Massive thanks to Patrick from @PEOPLELOVESDIAMOND for letting us come by and give us a chance to play for his GRAND OPENING for his new Art Studio on Dominic St.

We are truly thrilled about how well the night went and are excited to see where we can go from here.

Thanks to everyone who came down and danced alongside us! Definitely one of our most favorited events to date. Small, intimate and great being able to talk everyone and see their reactions up close for a change.

Our DJs did an amazing job and brought the exact energy that was needed in a setting quite like this one.

Shoutout to Shane from @PURPLE_DINOSAUR_ for recording our sets throughout the night! You can set them now on his page if you click the tag.

Finally, HUGEST Thank You to @LAURENGRANT_ART for taking these shots throughout the night. No better person to really capture the energy that we all were feeling taken in Dominick Street by @wagwanjc

summer dump
xox

this summer wasn't like any other. i am thrilled about how summer has gone. im really proud of the lengths ive reached by myself and i wouldn't be able to do it without friends, family and colleagues supporting me on this venture.

ive traveled to see friends, made new ones, played in new spaces and i grew a mustache.

also, just wanna touch on this one last time.

ive said on @dnys.events how it's amazing how we were able to break our expected goal of €200 for @claddaghwatchpatrol.

but to be honest, it was something I ever thought of achieving. over €600 for charity was made in a 3 week window, from donations and ticket sales on July 11th. loved ones, colleagues and absolute buzzers helped us reach this goal.

i cannot express my gratitude enough, i feel like a lot of growth has been had in the last year and the drive is never so invigorating.

I've always wanted to do something for charity near to my birthday ever since I heard of another DJ doing something in a similar fashion. and I wanna make it a thing i wanna do every year.

my final thanks for July 11th, you guys are awesome. pretty cool people who help me do pretty cool things.

all my love

the cool dude on my finger is named John Beef.
