To celebrate the last day of our campfire sale (*hint hint*), here's Jonathan around a campfire teaching a friend's 16 year old daughter a finger picking style called Travis Picking which is basically "thumb 1-middle-thumb 2-index." She rocked it, and after learning, immediately proceeded to play Landslide by Stevie Nicks on her G550RE. She also tells us how learning to play guitar on a Walden helped her guitar journey: it was easier to play well and more fun because she sounded better earlier.

Each and every independent guitar store still standing is worth celebrating. Meet Paul Tobias, owner at @tobiasmusicguitars in Chicagoland. Paul is a great guy and friend to the Walden project. He has super high-end guitars to drool over- and if you can afford an American luthier-made guitar, by all means, you should get one. And get one from an indy dealer like Paul. @esteban.eligio.music is layering and juxtaposing the Walden D642RCEB-G and the O550E. Black vs. natural. Cutaway vs. not. Dreadnought vs. orchestra body. 12- vs 6- strings. Interestingly, both guitars are spruce top with mahogany back and sides. by @waldenguitars
