Our fundraising page on @idonate.ie for #walk4ollie26 is now live. This year we hope to raise €10,000 for @musculardystrophyireland Ollie Hickey Fund. We’d love to have as many people join us on September 26th to make this as big an event as possible and to raise funds for MDI who do such great work to support and raise awareness of all muscular dystrophy conditions. Thank you as always for your support & contributions to #walk4ollie . We can’t believe that in just 3 years we’ve raised over €130,000!! What can we say about Saturday? If I’m honest, I didn’t think the 1-day format this year was going to work, and was pretty nervous that it wouldn’t have the same impact as previous years. Looks like I was wrong. We had more people than ever taking part (at one stage there were 30 of us). We had our first ever runners for Walk4Ollie. We had people take Walk4Ollie global by doing a 50km walk in Salt Lake City. And for one days’ walk, we are, at latest count, close to €25,000 which is just incredible. There’s so many people to thank who help us make this thing run so smoothly - Mags for the logistics on the day, Marie for the prizes and the constant push & motivation to make it happen, Rebecca for the co-ordination on the MDI side - to name but a few, and honestly if we were to list everyone we’d be here for a long time, but you know who you are. To our walkers and runners, new to Walk4Ollie and our seasoned pro’s, we thank you for your presence and apologize for any soreness - we hope you thought it was worth it. To everyone who donated, thank you - your support not only will contribute to @musculardystrophyireland Ollie Hickey Fund (you can read about that in our bio) but this year we will also use some of the funds raised for accessible initiatives in our home town of Enfield. And just an overall thanks to everyone who has & continues to support us - it’s a very humbling experience for us to see so many people turn up for our boy year after year, and we’re very grateful. Thanks - see you next year taken in Royal Canal by @walk4ollie

Well, what can we say? As always, unreal from our eBay colleagues & friends. We spent the morning walking through #blanchardstown raising awareness of @musculardystrophyireland and some funds in the process. We’re always overwhelmed by the support of everyone in eBay at this time every year, so a HUGE thank you to everyone involved. We had participant across Ireland and as far as Madrid, with our friends in Salt Lake City taking part later in the week taken in eBay HQ - Dublin by @walk4ollie

This Saturday, Walk4Ollie 2026 takes place for the fourth year in a row. So far, the campaign has raised over €130,000 in aid of MDI and the Ollie Hickey Fund. We're so grateful to Adam and Tommie Thornton for sharing their experience using the marathon chair acquired via the Ollie Hickey Fund in @dublinmarathon 2025. Not only were Adam and Tommie able to run together last year, they also raised more than €5000 in aid of MDI as a result. This is the impact of your donations and support 👏thank you so much to the Thorntons, the Hickeys and all our wonderful members and community! by @walk4ollie

Since the very first #walk4ollie, eBay have been one of our biggest supporters. Each year it’s been amazing to see staff come together across some of our sites for an hour and literally walk for Ollie, raising awareness and funds for @musculardystrophyireland in the process. This year they’re doing again, and once again we are very humbled and grateful. Keep an eye out for us in #blanchardstown on Wednesday 23rd. Thanks eBay! taken in eBay HQ - Dublin by @walk4ollie
