I am not training for any races. I’m not recovering from any injuries. I’m just running. I wanted to build more consistency and not fall victim to my own excuses. So, I began a running streak to see how long I could do this thing. I’m 28 days in. I’ve never been this consistent with any exercise in my life but I get now how running is such a huge part of our day and our lives. I feel like myself if I don’t run in the morning, but every Thursday I sleep in just a little and run in the evening. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to continue with this streak without missing a day, but for now I feel great and I’m going to keep going! by @walker_notrunner

That was a difficult, but amazing hike yesterday! 4miles and 865 feet elevation gain. So fun! by @walker_notrunner

Last weekend we all went for a hike at the top of A-Basin along the continental divide. Today we took the dogs up to St. Mary’s glacier. I love getting out to explore, but it’s so much better enjoying it with the ones I love!

2025 BMW Dallas Half Marathon Is DONE!
I am so happy that I even finished this race. 6 months ago I had an accident that took me out of all activities and scared me to death. I went into this terrified that I wouldn’t be able to do it. I walked A LOT but still came in under the average pace I set in my head as a goal. I couldn’t be happier right now and I am so much more encouraged that I will hit my goal in 2026! I stopped and took the shots, drank the pickle juice🙌, and danced with mascots!

I did it. Last long run before Dallas BMW half.
Crazy run!
Mile 3 - first picture, clouds forming.
Mile 3.85 - next two pics, storm on one side and sun on the other
Mike 4.5 - temps drop, winds kicked in
Miles 5 - 6 freezing rain
Mile 7 - rainbow
Miles 8 & 9 sun ☀️

I enjoyed hiking out at the Flat Irons so much yesterday that I came back with girls and took on a longer and more difficult trail. It was absolutely worth it! It’s so beautiful out there!
