The sky is tumbling down is out today —

This song (as with many others) came to me one day as I drove downtown to the studio. I didn’t understand what it was about at first. But now I see it’s about embracing all of change that has come into my life recently. It’s a reflection of the gratitude I feel for this new chapter, and the excitement and growth it’s brought me.

With this song I did very little editing and hardly any takes. It’s the way I prefer to record, and I think it captures what I’m needing from my music right now. It sounds like me, and it feels a little vulnerable to share. But I’m starting to realize that’s kind of the point.
