Meet Richard “WalkingRich” Dahl 🇺🇸

Richard Dahl, better known as “WalkingRich,” is an adaptive golfer, athlete, coach, and advocate from Inglewood, California.

After sustaining a spinal cord injury in 2017, Richard found a new path back to competition through adaptive golf. Playing from an Ottobock ParaGolfer and swinging one-handed with his right arm, he continues to push himself and show what is possible on the golf course.

But Richard’s impact goes beyond his own game. He serves as an adaptive golf coach with Angel City Sports and is passionate about creating more opportunities, resources, and access to golf for people with disabilities throughout Los Angeles.

His greatest motivation, however, is his daughter, Rylie. Through golf, fatherhood, and his journey as WalkingRich, Richard hopes to show her—and others—that life may change the way you pursue your goals, but it doesn’t have to change how big you dream.

We’re excited to welcome Richard “WalkingRich” Dahl to Arizona to compete alongside some of the best seated golfers in the game at the 2026 Seated Golfers Championship! 🇺🇸⛳

A little @walkingrich @thetigerwheels @dkmgolf Banter ❤️👂🏽
Sometimes golf gives you the shot you need not the one you want.

Strategy is one the most important part of the game here I was going to go right of the sand trap which would of put me in a position to have a small chip shot which hasn’t been the strongest part of my game.

As you see I ended up missing the ball on my first shot which instead created a 10 yard punch out .

Which put me in position to do a full swing 56-degree wedge, which is a lot more comfortable for me right now. Until I develop my softer hands I been working on 🥲

Which after the results I believe was the smartest play.
