My contribution to the amazing #morethanms campaign for @mstogetherofficial 🫶🏼

I’ve loved seeing everyone’s posts this month and then creating my own. It really does go to show that having MS or any other chronic illness is just a small part of who we are and how we don’t let it define us

How are you more than MS? ✨

My honest take on how I’ve found the last few months as a first time mum. It’s been the hardest but the best few months of my life. Weighing up whether to bring a child into this world if you have a chronic illness can be a difficult decision, but I can honestly say having George is the best thing I’ve ever done he has brought so much joy and purpose into my life 🤍 #motherhood #fourthtrimester #chronicillness #multiplesclerosis #ms by @walkingwithms_

Introducing our beautiful son George who joined us 3 weeks ago 🩵

We’ve been tucked away in our little baby bubble and it’s been everything I hoped for and more. I did have an infection halfway through and had another hospital stay which made things a bit harder, but we got through it.

Loving my life with my boys, don’t want these days to end 🫶🏼

I didn’t know what to expect going into pregnancy especially with my MS, but it’s been the most amazing experience and I feel so lucky to be able to say that.

These last few weeks have been full of love, just soaking everything up before it all changes in the best way possible.

Women are bloody amazing for the life we grow and create it’s been the greatest privilege and I hope I am blessed to be able to do it again one day 🤍🥹

Whilst MS didn’t impact my TTC journey I know that isn’t everyone’s experience. MS doesn’t directly affect fertility, but it can influence the journey in indirect ways 🤍
This isn’t medical advice, but always speak to your neurologist and GP for advice

Two years ago I made this account not really knowing what it would become — I just knew I didn’t want to do MS alone anymore

Since then this little space has turned into support on the hard days, celebrations on the good ones, and reminders that life doesn’t stop because of a diagnosis. It just looks different… and sometimes even more meaningful 🤍

I love seeing this community living their best life’s despite our diagnosis and also the realness that is shared and how hard some days can be.
The most supportive people are some of the friends and strangers I’ve spoken to on this account

Im nearly 8 months pregnant now, still navigating MS, and if the last two years have taught me anything, it’s that we are capable of so much more than we think, even on the days we struggle

Thank you for following and for sharing your stories, your advice, your honesty, and your encouragement- so grateful I stepped out of my comfort zone and made this account 🧡

The mental load of pregnancy with MS is real — and often invisible.

You can be grateful and still feel scared.
Strong and still overwhelmed.

This is my experience, not medical advice. Everyone’s MS journey is different 🤍 #PregnancyWithMS #ChronicIllnessPregnancy #InvisibleIllness #multiplesclerosis #firsttimemum by @walkingwithms_

As 2025 is coming to an end I wanted to share some moments from my first & second trimester. With some Christmas in between ♥️ (trying get a family pic with a cat is impossible 🤣)

This year my body has done something I never take for granted- Growing a baby while living with MS.
Through fatigue, uncertainty, trust, fear, strength and so much love 🤍

Alongside pregnancy, I’m so proud to have still shown up for the MS community:
✨ Raised over £1,000 for @mstogetherofficial & @mssocietyuk
✨ Represented MS Together at a wellness event
✨ Supported the Yorkshire MS group as a Regional Leader
✨ Organised and hosted in-person events for the Yorkshire region

Thank you for connecting and supporting me. I appreciate you all so much and for the friendships I have made. Hope you all have a peaceful and healthy 2026 🤍✨ #pregnancy #2026baby #multiplesclerosis #chronicillnessmama #secondtrimester by @walkingwithms_

It’s been a month since my neurology appointment, and I’m still feeling a mix of relief and nerves. We talked all things pregnancy and postpartum. My neuro explained that the risk of relapses after baby is higher if MS has been active or if you’ve had 2+ relapses in a year. My MS has been active, so while it’s reassuring to have a plan, I still feel a bit anxious about it.

The plan after birth is I can start Kesimpta one week postpartum, it’s safe for breastfeeding and the best part is that MS doesn’t mean I can’t have a natural birth if I wish. Feeling grateful for my neuro and the support, but would love to hear from other mums—how did you get on postpartum, and any tips to minimise relapse risk? 🤍
