October is here! 🎶

I decided be a Dj around 2016 & this month represents this 10 years journey!
Different music collectives, venues, music genres, broadcasting, i believe music curation is a way to communicate, way to express ideas, values and identity.
From Baile Funk to Hip Hop, MPB or Jazz i have to say… my record bag is a bit heavy 😅 but gladly very diverse in October, just the way we should co-exist, multi plural and inclusive. 🌟

Obrigado:

Get familiar with @wallacbeats at MOVIMIENTO this Wed, 26 Aug at Section 8.

Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Walla C has been part of Melbourne’s beat scene since 2015, bringing his vibrant sound to dancefloors across the city. As co-host of Fresh Produce on PBS FM, his sets draw from Afro & Latin Diaspra sounds with a modern club beat.

Expect Baile Funk, Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Lo-fi drums and progressive dancefloor energy from one of Melbourne’s favourite selectors.

When cultures connect, communities come together.
