✨5.13.23✨ Dan, years ago I started boldly praying for the man of my dreams: a man who would be humble, but who takes so much pride in his identity in Jesus. I prayed specifically for a man who is a strong, confident leader; A patient, selfless, & forgiving man; A man who loves God with his whole being, & always puts that love first. & because of that first love, he’s able to love himself & our family unconditionally & selflessly.
I also prayed for a man who would protect & pursue my heart.
✨Dan, you are kind, strong, confident, & so wise. You are a man of character & integrity. you are patient, you are quick to forgive & quick to listen. You make me laugh, & you truly lighten my spirit 🙃✨. You are ridiculously good looking. You are an incredible strong leader, & you’ve always encouraged me to walk into my full potential & Godly purpose. You are humble, you are selfless, you are understanding. You love God with your whole being, & you always protect & pursue my heart.
✨Meeting you 12 years ago changed my life forever, & you have been an answer to a hundred more prayers!
Thank you for praying for me, for never giving up on me, & for your inconceivable patience over the years. God works in the COOLEST of ways.

**Joining all my millennials in this v cool 10-year throwback trendy trend.
2016 - the year of bleach blonde hair, reflective sunglasses, backpacks, my yellow puffer, Pamily, car trunks, 5 wheelin 🛼, breakups, & knowing myself deeply.
‘16 was an absolute banger of a year. Year 2 living in Colorado & I was completely hooked. Fully immersed - & honestly, just scratching the surface. So grateful for these core memories: 🧠✨
• Snowshoed everywhere. Didn’t matter - I just did it. (Alsoooo..the ‘Love Your 🍈’ beanies. Yikes 🫣) (also alsooo still rockin those same lulu pants 10 yrs later 🙌🏼)
• 7-mile uphill backpacking trek during the April ‘16 blizzard w/ a group of gals I barely knew, to a 10th Mountain Division cabin where we boiled snow for water, peed outside, & relied on 🕯️ light. Truly Epic. #offgrid
• Pamily was reunited 🫶🏻 (plus our Amazing Race audition debut 😉). Pretty sure this accelerated @theemilydaniel ‘s song writing career.
• Aspen girls trip - Maroon Bells hike day. 7 of us.
• Wash Park shenanigans. Always.
• First 14er 🐐 Tom Brady spotting
• just another regular day
• Ope! Gotta get those Amazing Race headshots
• Backpacking trip to Indian Peaks wilderness. Best trip. Froze my a$$ off. Saw my first moose!
• Played a LOT of VBall. Flew back to Chi town for the big-dig
• Lake Dillon with my girls. Go Pats ✌🏼
• More & more & more backpacking 🏕️.
• Bikes to Maroon Bells babyyyyyyyy 🚴🏼‍♀️
• Met the Boulder Police Marshall guy on a rollerblading Pamily Day adventure
• Lauren & Cora come to visit 🥰 more hiking mountains we went. St Mary’s glacier.
• Fearsome Foursome was a vibe that year. 🏐
• As per the photo, Jan 1, 2016 started off ballin💰
• More VBall. Mountain tourneys (oh yikes - the bleach blonde days 🙈)
• ✌🏼 to old chapters
• Don’t forget about me 🫶🏻

🧵 As a Christmas gift this year, my sister hand stitched 6 individual cloth napkins for me, all with a different pattern and they are STUNNING! I’m still mind blown at the gorgeous detail and personality of each one. 🥹

I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to allow dinner guests to wipe their mouths on these or not but they will for sure be displayed for people to appreciate!! 🌼 by @wallacepats
