WALLSTREET Exposition, installation multimédia/Ausstellung, Multimediale Installation Création/Kreation Italiano, English Traduction/Übersetzung: français, Deutsch Entrée libre/Eintritt frei FR Dans son installation, la chercheuse et curatrice Deiara Semeco Kouto s’intéresse – à travers des pratiques de mapping (cartographie) – aux traces coloniales au Tessin. À travers des exemples souvent ignorés, comme les marchands tessinois et leur rôle dans le commerce du cacao à la fin du XVIIIe siècle, le public est invité à réfléchir à la façon dont les positionnements coloniaux s’inscrivent dans les récits, et à la manière dont ces récits sont transformés par les technologies numériques. Mapping Unspoken Echoes est donc un projet de recherche curatoriale et artistique qui explore les conceptions du temps, de la mémoire institutionnelle et des politiques d’archivage. Au Belluard Bollwerk, ce premier chapitre interroge des enjeux actuels autour de la géographie, de l’histoire, des origines culturelles et des liens avec le récit colonial dominant, tout en proposant une contre-archive en progression de l’histoire suisse. DE In ihrer neu entwickelten Installation richtet die Forscherin und Kuratorin Deiara Semeco Kouto den Blick mittels digitalen Mappings auf koloniale Spuren im Tessin. Anhand oft übergangener Beispiele, wie etwa Tessiner Kaufleute und ihrer Rolle in den Kakaonetzwerken des späten 18. Jahrhunderts, öffnet sich ein Raum zur Reflexion: Wie sind koloniale Positionierungen in unsere Erzählungen eingeschrieben – und wie verändern digitale Technologien diese Perspektiven? Mapping Unspoken Echoes entfaltet sich als fortlaufendes kuratorisches und künstlerisches Forschungsprojekt, das sich mit Fragen von Zeitverständnis, institutionellem Gedächtnis und der Politik des Archivierens auseinandersetzt. Dieses erste Kapitel beim Belluard Bollwerk hinterfragt gegenwärtige Vorstellungen von Geografie, Geschichte und kultureller Herkunft sowie deren Verflechtungen mit kolonialen Narrativen – und schlägt zugleich ein wachsendes Gegenarchiv Schweizer Geschichte vor. 📷 NASA by @wallstreet.support

L’exposition en cours d’Élie Autin @elie.autins sera également visible. / Im Rahmen der Museumsnacht 2026 in Freiburg lädt WallStreet June Schade zu einer Klangperformance ein. Die laufende Ausstellung von Élie Autin ist ebenfalls zu sehen. 🧚🏻🎺🥁 FRANST Improvisation choisie, trompette amplifiée, noise réconfortant Franst explore la coexistence de la fragilité et de la fluidité dans des performances sonores live. À travers une trompette amplifiée, une guitare et des pédales d’effets, le son est abordé comme un matériau sensible et instable, mais aussi réconfortant, capable de générer des états de vulnérabilité et de transformation partagés avec le public. La performance aura lieu à WallStreet (Varis 10-12) à partir de 19:00. FRANST Gewählte Improvisation, verstärkte Trompete, tröstlicher Noise Franst erforscht in LiveKlangperformances das Zusammenspiel von Fragilität und Fluidität. Durch eine verstärkte Trompete, eine Gitarre und Effektpedale wird Klang als sensibles und instabiles, zugleich aber auch tröstliches Material verstanden, das Zustände von Verletzlichkeit und Transformation erzeugen kann, die mit dem Publikum geteilt werden. We’re delighted to announce "Saisons", a new series of offsite events. Please join us for the launch and first episode on March 19! "Saisons" is conceived as an invitation to audiences, artists, and cultural actors who contribute to the art scene in Fribourg from both near and far. Each episode follows a meteorological cycle (a season) and a specific artistic medium. Developed each time within and for a unique site in Fribourg, "Saisons" aims to create a space for temporary communities arising from the interactions between the people present, the artworks, and the space. The first episode is taking place at WallStreet, an independent art space in Fribourg, and is dedicated to the medium of both sound and language. Two readings will be presented, followed by an ambient listening session. Pascale Bonin Nunlist has been pursuing a writing practice for many years, but has only recently begun to share her work in public and through radio formats. For "Saisons", she invites the audience to follow narrative loops and imaginary wanderings, to listen to fragments which want to be heard, and to let itself be carried along by the flow of her thoughts. Joséphine de Weck is an author, actress, and creator of stage projects. Recently, she has published the novel "La petite lutte" with Éditions La Veilleuse. For "Saisons", she presents a text collage drawn from her collection of 1,233 quotes. A unique text form emerges from this montage, making the words of others to superimpose with her own. Romaine Wuilleret is part of the Fribourg-based transition radio. As a DJ and under the name of e-skola, she creates sound scapes which fuse acoustic and electronic vibrations, evoking both enchanted worlds and tender nostalgia.
