Hey! My name is Svetlana. My photography practice began in 2015, when I began to notice color compositions on the walls that resemble abstract paintings. Since then, I’ve been deeply interested in this topic, and I’ve started documenting buffs along with other elements of the urban landscape.As a rule, I open them during walks without a pre-planned route. This approach allows you to capture visual details that elude you in a targeted search.Sometimes I return to the same locations for months and years, recording how the surfaces change. Periodic photography reveals a process where previous layers are filled in with new ones, gradually complicating the composition.In recent years, my attention has been attracted by buildings covered with construction mesh during restoration. They evoke associations with the works of Christo and are perceived as full-fledged urban installations that arose unintentionally. The grids are swaying in the wind, gaining momentum, and tags and fresh buffs are gradually layered on them.Over the past three years, analog photography has been added to digital photography. This is another tool through which I make sense of the world around me. by @wallswalls
