Something special is coming soon between @edieure_ x WallTawk! Prairie is inspired by the treasured keepsakes and fragments of lives carried across the plains, and the things that were gathered and lost along the way…. We hope you love it! A portion of sales will be distributed to our region’s food banks 🤍 by @walltawk
The road less traveled, after hiking several hours to reach Marble Point, which has a 2,200’ elevation gain in under 2 miles! I could not have handled this kind of strenuous hike a few years ago, but I’ve been working hard and I did it! I love the Aspens so much. They are the largest organism on Earth, and are connected by a single underground root system. (The largest grove, Pando, with 47,000 stems is located next door in Utah.) Anyway, I think about how much we humans can learn from nature: when a tree is struggling or sick, the other stems send their nutrients and water over to the shoot that needs help! I guess that’s because they are all connected, but I heard that fact and it stuck with me! Happy Fall! 🍂 🌳 by @walltawk
Happy Baby Friday! This wonderful new collection from @faycetextiles was inspired by a trip to the Cotswolds, and includes patterns such as Companions 🐕, Manicules 👈🏽, Topiaries 🌳 and Pasture. And yes, that is embroidered 🐑 on grasscloth! I always love seeing how creative people turn their inspiration into pattern repeats, and I love knowing the human stories and experiences behind the designs. by @walltawk
It’s hard to believe my (small, little) dream of bringing independent wallpaper to Denver turned 10 (TEN!!) this summer. I still remember sitting at the (former) Humble Pie on Colfax with Risa, Kathy and Courtney, wondering if I could launch a small business…with no “plan” or business experience, but with an ungodly love of wallpaper! I kept focusing on what I didn’t know, but they encouraged me to give it a try! A few weeks later I launched WallTawk from the bottom floor of my home, specifically the dining room, which is where I still operate today! What a decade it’s been. I’ve had a surge of creative energy recently (thanks to a milestone trip to Japan), and as I consider what I want the next decade to look like (which includes 3 new lines and in-house patterns too!), I just wanted to say thank you! Thank you to the homeowners who have come back over and over again, to the amazing designers and architects I’ve had the privilege of working with this *entire* time, to the talented makers who trust me to represent them in the Rocky Mt West, and to the installers who make my lines shine! Shout out to every local business who has put in the time, sweat, tears over the years to keep their dreams alive, despite all the things we face over which we have no control. After a long absence on this platform, I’ve decided to share something positive each day: a pattern, an install, a great book, a stunning flower farm, a piece of art, a beautiful hike, a great designer, or something else that brings light into this world. Our new logo (above) was created by @kenzie.magyar - who was a local art student at the time, but has now moved on to college. Have a beautiful day! by @walltawk
New patterns from our amazing brands @these.walls 🇦🇺 @papierwallpaper 🇳🇱 by @walltawk
…reminded of this beautiful installation by @vibedesigncollective today, which used our Trace Grid wallpaper by @eso.studio . Thanks, Marie! 🏔️❄️🚡(And I’m counting down the days until we go snowshoeing). by @walltawk
Working with interior designers like @maryengelkeninteriors is a true joy. I love seeing how a simple wallpaper pattern can completely transform a space and add so much warmth. This is a great example of a room that a child can “grow into”- and it feels timeless. Thanks, Mary! Photo credit: @ericlucerophoto by @walltawk
@brianadevoe is (now) available through WallTawk, and you can read all about her process and practice in The Seam, link above. Here’s to patterns inspired by the high desert ! (Side note, one day I want to be a landscape architect, just like Piet Oudolf!) Have a beautiful night. xx by @walltawk
Listening to Yacht Rock (I’m in a serious phase!), and sending these samples off to a talented designer! New-ish from @thelawnsco by @walltawk
I couldn’t love this anymore 🌳. Kristy, ya done gooood, real good!! (Featuring our @houseofhackney Plantasia). Happy snow day! Install by Jodi S. by @walltawk
Happy Holidays, everyone! If you're looking for something to read in a quiet space, our new digital magazine, The Seam, is live (link in bio). It was a true labor of love. I hope it puts a smile on your face and gives you some creative inspiration. I want to put something positive out into the world - something that celebrates the best of human ideas and design - and this is it. We are already hard at work on Issue 2, featuring Aboriginal design from Australia, cabin life round-ups, a feature on @anduba.art and her beautiful collection of Indigenous patterns from across the Americas, winter inspiration (books, puzzles, teas, ceramics, and textiles), plus architecture and design from Colorado to Mexico. You can travel the world with us, without leaving your home! Featuring @kellyventuradesign on our inaugural cover. Design and layout by the amazing @danasmithcreative Happy reading! xx, Batya PS: Our website refresh (we are in desperate need) will launch in January, just ahead of our 10-year anniversary. Our non-profit partners for the remainder of 2025 will be @bienvenidosfoodbank and @foodbankrockies Let's do this! by @walltawk
