My diorama entry for the Galactic Civil War Challenge hosted by @pale_king_hobby @bobcohoon_minis and @minimonsterpaints Three teams are competing head to head to rule the galaxy, the Rebels, the Scum, and the Empire.

For this I was inspired by an image of Mos Eisley from Battlefront 2 where there were canvas canopies in a market with the sun showing so bright it illuminated and shown through the shadows.

Two entries, two placements! It was the first time entering Path of the Worthy with my Kraven from @atomic_mass_transmissions and the first ever Miniatures As Art Celebration from @monument_hobbies and I was super grateful to earn a silver in the former and @vincentventurella’s judge pick for my Gnome!

My first time entering both competitions but seeing the support, camaraderie, and celebration of miniature art this year was just amazing, I specially seeing so many friends succeed as well. It was a great reminder of why I keep pushing on.

Special thanks to @pale_king_hobby as well for encouraging me to work on these two pieces. I don’t think I would’ve have chosen them on my own but the challenges helped push me to them both.

Lots of ideas for next year I can’t wait to start!

Trying out a the cell shaded style for my friend @littledreeea ‘s figure! A fun quick paint break from working on competition pieces when we did our painting co-stream on Twitch and so took some time to finish it up. I certainly think I will try out some more anime style pieces in the future!

Finally finished my Scoth Draic for my Weaver Courts army for Conquest by @parabellum_wargames and I had to do some shots with my new Weaver Scouts themed dice from @baronofdice

Fearful Symmetry

My entry for Path of the Worthy this year. Swipe to see the inspiration and some of the in progress pics. Taking inspiration from the comic book cover #2 of the greatest Spider-Man Graphic novel “Kraven’s Last Hunt”
I wanted to recreate one of the most iconic Kraven moments and it was a brutal challenge with both having a backlit piece seen from the unlit angle AND having to make the spider man suit from scratch.

A sincere thank you to my friends @pale_king_hobby for putting this spider man challenge on, I’ve been wanting to enter the Worthy for years but never felt particularly inspired until this year with the challenge 🧡
