This USAF F-35A Lightning II (19-5475; msnAF-303; LN), piloted by Kristin "Beo" Wolfe, performs a high speed dedication pass over the airfield of Leopoldsburg - Beverlo (EBLE), during the Sanicole Sunset Show in extreme humid conditions. Major Kristin "Beo" Wolfe is the Commander of the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. For the display in Belgium, an aircraft from Lakenheath (UK) was used (September 10, 2022).

This Belgian Air Force SF-260M+ Marchetti (ST-26+, msn10-26) is seen parked on the Beauvechain flightline, wearing its standard high-visibility c/s nowadays. - Fighting Falcon Friday... Once upon a time when this HAF F-16C, S/N 06-0005, was an "Aegean Tiger" and got to show off its true color and stripes to represent the 335 Squadron during the 2016 NTM at LEZG. In 2020, this aircraft was used to prototype the Block 72 upgrade for the HAF Viper fleet. Today, S/N 06-0005 is a "Star" flying with the 343 Squadron based at Souda AB on the island of Crete.

- Swiss Air Force Alouette was spotted navigating through the Swiss Alps like taking a Sunday drive in the neighborhood... a piece of cake! From 1964 to 2010, the Swiss AF operated a total of 84 of the rotor-wing aircraft. The Alouette III was replaced by the Eurocopter EC635 to continue the VIP and utility transport tasks.

- White-nose Wednesday... ITA Airways A330-202 taxiing out to depart from KIAH for a flight to LIRF. But why the funny-looking white nose?

Once in a while, an airliner can be seen with a mismatched component installed on the aircraft. In this case, EI-EJO is seen with a white nose radome most likely because ITA Airways did not have a replacement radome available. ITA Airways probably acquired a spare radome from the OEM, which is typically finished in generic white. The priority is to keep the aircraft flying to meet schedule so sporting the white nose radome is normal until it can be scheduled for a paint job.

In the meantime, "JO" is eye-catching with the white nose!
