Looking for something fun and unique to do for ladies night in, a birthday party, or any occasion really? Especially now that it's too cold to partake in outdoor activities. Well book your very own customized painting party through WANAKIART. Choose your own subject matter for WANAKIART to create a painting from. Or choose an existing creation from the WANAKIART portfolio. All painting materials are supplied and brought to the location of your choosing. The event will be led by Wanaki Shores-Navata. She has a painting degree from the University Of Illinois Urbana Champaign. The main two goals of WANAKIART is that you have fun and that everyone's painting look different from everyone else's.

My garden is truly my happy place. Everyday I give thanks to God for it. For blessing me with a bit of land. For equipping my body with the strength to build and tend to it. For amazing friends and family who generously share bits of their gardens with me. Or have gifted me with plants that have been on my wish list, for my birthday. And especially to everyone who’s helped me dig, plant, and do a lot of heavy lifting! I am tremendously grateful for the life that I live and for all of my loved ones that are a part of it. Thank you🙏🏾💕🥰

51 and feeling good! Thank you all for the birthday sentiments. I’m grateful for another year, surrounded by love. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to those whose consistent love keeps my garden blooming. May God bless you all and keep you in my life always. 🙏🏾❤️

This song is a message from the old me. She’s brought me through the fires, and I thank her. I thank God for giving her the strength and courage to go through and endure what I will not. God has used her to transform me into the woman that I am becoming. The woman that he intends for me to be, to honor him and my loved ones. The old Wanaki is dead and buried. It’s been a challenging journey to say the least. However, I am so grateful to God for always being beside me and now always in me.
