SABI FIKIRA Sabi Fikira is a design house built at the intersection of East and West African roots. It’s an evolving space where personal reflection, cultural symbols and real-world issues turn into physical pieces that you can wear and hold. The Protect African Women collection is exactly what the brand stands for. It isn’t just a merch drop; it’s a direct statement, an act of advocacy, and a way to use textiles and print, to speak out loudly against gender-based violence while honoring the strength, beauty, and safety of African women. African women carry culture, lineage, and creation, yet consistently face systemic neglect and violence. This collection turns clothing into a billboard of resistance, demanding safety, honor, and accountability in every space we step into. One year of wanawaKE 🤍 It’s been an incredible journey building and growing with such talented creatives over the past year. What started as an idea has become a vibrant community of artists confidently sharing their work and expressing themselves on their own terms. As we move forward, we’re excited to keep collaborating, connecting, and creating more opportunities for even more creatives to be seen, heard, and celebrated. To our community, thank you. Your support and energy has played a huge role in how far we’ve come, and we truly appreciate it. Here’s to more creativity, more collaborations, and an even bigger year ahead❤️ by @wanawa.ke
JUST AWA This is a clothing brand built on creativity, style, and sustainability. We began our journey focusing on upcycled fashion transforming pre-loved pieces into unique, statement outfits. This time, we’re taking things a step further. We’re introducing a new line of clothing made entirely from scratch. Our goal is to stay diverse and innovative creating both upcycled and original designs that reflect bold individuality and timeless style. Photography: @ajwxng @derai.nerima by @wanawa.ke
