Lately, I’ve been reminded that some seasons of life ask us to slow down.

Our sweet Loki is battling cancer, and I’ve been a little quieter around here as we make space for the moments that matter most.

And that’s what this season has given me—a different appreciation for the luxury of time.

The luxury of a quiet morning.
A freshly brewed cup.
Sunlight through the windows.
A conversation that lingers.
A few extra minutes with the ones you love.

Coffee has always been more than something to drink for me. It’s a ritual. An invitation to pause, breathe, and actually be where you are.

So lately, I’m choosing the slower mornings. The longer sips. The unhurried moments.

In Santa María de Dota, they say there’s nothing to do but drink coffee… and honestly, that’s kind of the point ☕️
