Bougie budget may have gone out of the window on this weekend’s visit to Amsterdam. As myself and @kyinkyini booked this suite at The Intel Hotel Central with its own whirlpool tub & sauna 🧖🏻‍♀️🧖🏾‍♀️✨

Despite the quality relaxation facilities, we still managed to have our typical type a get away. With outfit plans and a deliciously full itinerary!

“Well-behaved women seldom make history” and that’s why @thekinoshow_ will make the pages ✨🍾

The theme for this month’s Kino Show was: Period Dramas and Historical Figures. I mean, they already had me at Period Dramas 👏🏼

Producer and Host @kikinoir.performer warmed us up with a soft entry into the 19th century. A promenade followed by a singular ankle flash! Oh the scandal! @pupindevert continued in the century’s theme. Bringing her Elizabeth Bennet to life through cheeky caricature and classic burlesque movements.

With @dianeka_lovestrange we took a leap back to ancient Egypt. From the first flick of her fans she embodied the divine feminine energy of Queen Ankhesenamun.

We arrived in pre revolutionary Paris to find a familiar face. @odeliaopium perfectly channeled her inner Marie Antoinette. In her usual splendour and impeccablly made costume. She teased us whilst she had her cake, and ate it.

@ro_tations flowed on to the stage. With a playful nod to the @bridgertonnetflix series. Throwing all 19th century sensibilities out of the hoop.

@velvet_sparks ignited the stage as Kali. Goddess of time, destruction & liberation. With the bold colours of her costume and sharp choreography she had a devout audience in mere moments.

Kiki Noir returned and took great pleasure in taking us all back to that heart wrenching moment when Kate Winslet couldn’t share a door… With a beautiful Celine Dion styled tribute to the very real victims of the Titanic catastrophe.

Finally; @gaia_burlesque & @tessa.tassel had us all lusting after 16th century Italy. With a nod to the renowned women of that era. Lucretia Borgia, Catherine De Medici. I believe they were in the room with us that night!

To summarise: Wow!

This was the last show at @ before their much anticipated refurb! And what a send off it was ✨ can’t wait to be back for their relaunch on 14/10/26
