I waited a full year to snap these photos 🇮🇸 ✨ Yeah I was obsessed with Maelifell and when I planned my trip to the highlands of Iceland this spot was at the very top of my list. I wasn’t sure if I would make it and almost had to turn back. After successfully crossing the waterfall river (which was epic) this beautiful ancient volcano eventually revealed itself and it felt like I was walking into a real life movie. I’ll never forget that feeling of seeing it for the first time. I definitely want to be back here one day. Hands down one of the most epic places I’ve ever been. I’m so glad it worked out. Spooky nights in the Quiver Tree forest 🇳🇦 Traveled 40 hours to get to this amazing landscape in Namibia to capture the Milky Way. ICELAND ✨🌋 There’s a part of me that I left in Iceland 4 years ago. It’s since become my playground, my escape from the world. When I’m all the way up there in the arctic I get a wild feeling. Being the first in my family to go that far up North is pretty cool too 😎I’ve taken most of my best photos here so I owe it a lot. Once upon a sunrise in the Namib desert 🇳🇦 I had a clear vision for this shot. When I clicked it I knew it would look exactly how I wanted it to and I just knew I was going to print it. Fast forward 3 year, I’ve printed it a few times in different variations and finishes. I’m still in awe of it when I see it 😀I feel like one of the highest achievements you can experience as a photographer is having your work in people’s homes. Idk it feels very personal and I haven’t really gotten that sense of fulfillment doing anything else in the photo world. What a privilege it’s been to see some of the most incredible places on the planet and turn them into a physical pieces.
