As a straight person, if you were constantly receiving comments about your sexuality and who you love, you would understand what Pride month was all about . Be thankful you don’t have to be aware of who is around when you kiss your partner, hold their hand, say “I love you”, be told by others who you should or shouldn’t love. It’s a privilege to have that freedom. Some of us don’t. I came from a straight relationship and I never thought twice about the things until the first time I wanted to just hold the hand of the girl I liked in a public place . That feeling was an eye opener . While it’s so much more accepted now, it’s still hard. I have been lucky enough to be mostly surrounded by love and acceptance and not to have faced some of the evil and hate this world can throw at you. But I still receive ignorant comments and had to fight to be understood with where I am at in my journey. And it’s a beautiful place to be, to just love freely 💚 This is Pride Month 🌈 #pride🌈 #pridemonth by @wanderlushspaces
Money can buy plants and plants make people happy …. Just saying (and there is actual science behind that .) #plantsmakepeoplehappy #junglehome #wanderlust #biophilicdesign by @wanderlushspaces
I need to tell you a story about a girl who may or may not have an addiction problem… This girl and her family stopped at a cafe/plant shop on their way home from the beach …. It was such a beautiful shop and the plant selection was amazing ! The girl enjoyed strolling through and touching and admiring so many with the incredible restraint to look and not buy. After touching and drooling over many but buying none, something crazy happened. She was literally LEAVING.THE.STORE. on the way to the car when a plant spoke to her in the exit display . The girl felt so drawn to it despite her great restraint to not buy more plants . She caved . She couldn’t help herself. Soooo, as her family made their way back to the car she crept back into the store to buy this pretty lady, now faced with the task of fitting her into a FULLY loaded car on the way home from the beach carrying 5 humans . She returned to said car, hiding behind the very large plant with the hopes that the humans already buckled in the car wouldn’t notice her slipping into the car with a giant plant her lap (the only place left in the fully loaded vehicle.) And this is how she rode home for the next 2.5 hours… all in the name of a beautiful plant. Moral of the story … Always buy the plant 🪴 💚 😂 (Last photo has the plant at home on the kitchen table, for size reference 🫣) #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantlove #plantobsessed @tidal.roots by @wanderlushspaces
Currently romanticizing the hell out of this life. ✨ Good light. Good coffee. Good reads. Fun Adventures. A beautiful space. And still choosing the same person, 7 years later. 🤎 Turns out, this is the luxury. #RomanticizeYourLife #SlowLiving #CouplesTravel #LifeWellLived #boutiquetravel by @wanderlushspaces
☀️ I open the curtains and let the morning light pour in. ☕️ I drink my coffee from the pretty mug instead of saving it. 🎵 I put on music while I clean the kitchen. 🪴 I move my plants around just because the room needed a little more life. 🐞 I step outside and time to notice the little things that are especially beautiful. 🕯️ I light the candle on a completely ordinary Tuesday. 🛌 I make my bed feel like somewhere I want to crawl into at the end of the day. 📸 I photograph the tiny moments that would otherwise be forgotten. 🌱 I clip something green from outside and put it in a vase. 🪑 I rearrange a corner instead of buying something new for it. 🍱 I make ordinary food look pretty on the plate. 🏡 I let home be a destination, too. Because romanticizing your life isn’t really about spending money. It’s about paying attention. Making a little ceremony out of the things you were going to do anyway. Noticing the light. Using the beautiful things. Taking care of your space. Going outside. Slowing down long enough to realize— there is actually quite a lot of beauty hiding inside an ordinary day. 🌿 You don’t need a more expensive life. Sometimes you just need to notice the one you’re already living. #WanderlushSpaces #RomanticizeYourLife #SlowLiving #IntentionalLiving #SimpleJoys #BeautifulLiving #PlantFilledHome #EverydayMagic by @wanderlushspaces
Apparently my design soul lives somewhere in the 1970s… with a little old-world romanticism mixed in. 🌿 And suddenly, so much about my style makes sense. The plants that slowly take over every room. Low-slung furniture. Moody corners. Warm wood and natural textures. Art that feels collected rather than coordinated. Things brought home from travels because they hold a story. A little darkness. A little romance. And rooms that are meant to feel like something. Not quite orange shag carpet + avocado appliances 70s. 😂 More like 1970s organic modernism meets old-world botanical romanticism—with just enough modern minimalism to keep me from becoming an eccentric Victorian plant collector. Although… give me time. I recently learned that a lot of what I naturally gravitate toward falls under biophilic design—creating spaces that reconnect us with nature and make us feel more grounded. And now I’m realizing there’s an entire era woven into my aesthetic too. Maybe that’s why I’ve never really loved spaces that feel brand-new or perfectly matched. I want a room to feel collected. Lived in. A little wild. And full of stories. So now I’m curious… If your personality were an interior design era, what would it be? 1920s Art Deco? Romantic Victorian? 70s earthy + eclectic? 80s postmodern? 90s minimalism? Or completely modern? Tell me yours 👇 because now I want to psychoanalyze everyone’s houses. 😂🌿 #BiophilicDesign #OrganicModern #OrganicModernDesign #moodyinteriors #70sInspired by @wanderlushspaces
