30 years ago today marks the day I married my best friend. Through mostly sunshine and luckily just short intermittent bouts of drizzle, we have walked hand in hand through three decades with children, travel, work, movie nights, cuss words while doing home repairs, date nights, gossip and laughter, dance parties, adventures, you bringing in the heavy grocery bags while opining on where to eat next, me probably retrieving another package from the front porch (whoopsie) and agreeing to wherever, as long as I’m with you, I am good. Thank you for all you’ve done to make my life (and I think our daughters too) such a blessing. I love you tremendously and yes, we can go eat now. @4davidgill by @wanderlustgo

Wonderful wedding weekend in Minnesota. We stayed in Minneapolis, but went out into the gorgeous countryside for Hunter and Gabe’s wedding which was lovely and so fun. Along with the wedding, full of love, fireworks, and hours of dancing, we toured around Minneapolis and the area. We visited MIA, Lake Minnetonka and the charming town of Excelsior, and probably most memorable (queue tears of joy), The Mall of America (the largest mall in the US, so if you know me, you know me). Almost three weeks spent with early morning walks surrounded by tall pines and the rapturous scents of wet mountain air, enchanting sunsets strolls, grateful, full-hearted visits with family and friends, wandering hikes and dips in the cool waters of Lake Tahoe and the river…take me back. by @wanderlustgo

💛💛💛 McKaylah surprised us with an impromptu visit last weekend! I had a fun quick three days with two of my three favorite people! It’s hard when both your daughters live in other states to get us all together at the same time. I’m infinitely proud of McKaylah and Ava, both bright and beautiful people, both whom make me feel a special kind of love in the depths of my heart. And thanks to Dave, always the good girl dad, who puts up with our endless cheersing boomerangs, our “I just want to pop in and look inside this store and see something…” stops, and holding our purses while we “just try these on real quick.” I love spending time with McK, can’t wait to see Ava in a couple weeks, and am grateful for Dave who is outnumbered by females. by @wanderlustgo

We enjoyed a few days in the river country of northern Cali renting an adorable little cabin that sat at the shores of the American River. The smell of the mountains and the familiar sounds of the river reminded me of my younger days there soaking up the sun and basking in mother nature’s goodness. With open windows at night, the water’s rouring lullaby below,leisurely walks through the woods and along rocky shores, shoddy wifi that lent to an opportunity for heartful chats, yummy dinners with loved ones, the melody of chirping birds and the flickering kaleidoscope of the oak trees overhead, prob most fab was the furgirls massive feral animal sides coming out, it was a good few days. We lived in Mexico City for a bit over three years and each time I visit since, I feel a deep connection to the beauty within the culture and the people. Whilst it was a short three day trip visiting with old friends, noshing on delicious food, seeing some old museums and sites, México, en mi corazón te llevo. 🇲🇽🌮❤️ taken in Mexico City by @wanderlustgo
