Phra Khanong might be one of Bangkok’s most underrated districts. On the BTS Sukhumvit line, close to Thonglor — but cheaper, calmer, and way more liveable. Street food, markets, local shophouses, and condos that don’t destroy your bank account. It’s less nightlife, more neighbourhood. Less influencer chaos, more real Bangkok life. Would you live here or is it too quiet for you? Tell me 👇 and comment the next district I should break down. Save this — I’m doing every Bangkok district. #BangkokLife #PhraKhanong #LivingInThailand #BangkokDistricts #expatlife by @wanderlustinglaura
One road, a hundred worlds. You’re on Sukhumvit Road, and every soi has a completely different personality. Soi 3 is the Arab district, full of Middle Eastern food and shisha cafés. Soi 4 is Nana Plaza, neon lights and Bangkok’s most infamous nightlife. Soi 11 is the party street, bars, clubs, rooftops and chaos. Soi 22 is old-school expat Bangkok with pubs and hidden spots. Soi 31–33 is Japanese territory, sushi, izakayas and salaryman energy. Go further down and it gets more local, less touristy, more real Bangkok. #Sukhumvit #BangkokLife #BangkokStreets #BangkokGuide #ThailandTravel by @wanderlustinglaura
I tried the 24 hour suit in Bangkok - and this is the reveal 👀 Measured ➝ fitted ➝ ready for collection in 24 HOURS And honestly… I’m impressed. Service: 10/10 Fitting: 10/10 Fabrics: 10/10 For just 24 hours, you really couldn’t ask for more. I went for a 3-piece (because I’ve never had one before)… and now I’m wondering why I didn’t do this sooner. But I want your opinion… Would you try a 24 hour turnaround? 👇 Let me know — I’m curious what you think #bangkok #24hrsuit #bangkoksuit #bangkoktailors by @wanderlustinglaura
🇬🇧 LONDON, PARIS & VENICE… WITHOUT EVEN LEAVING CHINA?! 🤯🌍 📍 SAVE THIS if you’re planning a trip to Macau, because this place is absolutely BONKERS! I stayed at The Venetian Macao, and after wandering through the streets of Venice, I casually strolled over to The Londoner Macao and somehow ended up on a fake London Underground train! 🚇😂 As a Brit, I genuinely couldn’t believe the effort they’ve gone to recreating London on the other side of the world! We’re talking Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, red double-decker buses, British-style streets, the spectacular Crystal Palace and even a Changing of the Guard performance! 🇬🇧 And the madness doesn’t stop there! 🌍 Macau’s Cotai Strip is basically a miniature world tour: 🇮🇹 The Venetian Macao – Venice, complete with indoor canals, gondolas and Italian-style streets beneath a painted sky. 🇬🇧 The Londoner Macao – London, with its 96-metre Elizabeth Tower, British landmarks, shops and entertainment. 🇫🇷 The Parisian Macao – Paris, featuring a half-scale Eiffel Tower and gorgeous French-inspired architecture. 🎬 Studio City Macau – Hollywood-inspired glitz, entertainment and attractions. The Venetian, Londoner and Parisian are even connected by indoor walkways, so you can literally wander between countries without stepping outside! 😂 China really said, WHY TRAVEL THE WORLD WHEN WE CAN BUILD IT HERE?! Honestly, Macau has completely blown my mind. It’s like Las Vegas on steroids! 💾 SAVE this for your Macau itinerary! 💬 But tell me… is this absolutely AMAZING or completely MAD? Would you visit these replicas or rather see the real places? #Macau #TheLondonerMacao #TheVenetianMacao #VisitMacau #travelasia by @wanderlustinglaura
🇲🇴 SAVE THIS! Because Macao has a little slice of VENICE and it’s absolutely BONKERS! 😍🇮🇹 Living my best life poolside at The Venetian Macao, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel quite like it! Located on Macao’s famous Cotai Strip, this FIVE-STAR giant opened in 2007 and is basically an entire city disguised as a hotel! 🤯 ✨ Here’s why you need to visit: 🛶 VENICE IN ASIA! Actual canals running through the shopping centre, complete with singing gondoliers, bridges and a painted blue sky! 🏨 Almost 3,000 luxury suites! And they’re enormous, starting at around 70 square metres! 🛍️ 350+ shops! An absolute paradise for anyone who loves a spot of retail therapy. 🏊‍♀️ FOUR outdoor swimming pools! Including an adults-only pool, surrounded by palm trees and gorgeous Italian-inspired architecture. Look at this place! 🎰 CASINO CENTRAL! Macao is famous for its gambling scene, and this resort has a huge casino. 🍜 FOOD, FOOD, FOOD! Restaurants, international cuisine, entertainment and enough to keep you exploring for days. 💡 MY TOP TIP: You don’t actually have to stay here to explore the incredible indoor canals and shopping areas. The pools, however, are for hotel guests. Honestly, Macao is like someone took Las Vegas, Venice and a little bit of Asia, threw them in a blender and said, MAKE IT BIGGER! 😂 And here I am, doing absolutely nothing productive except enjoying every second of it! ✌️☀️ 💬 Would you put MACAO on your bucket list? Or have you already been? 📌 Save this for your future travels and TAG someone who’d love this place! #TheVenetianMacao #VisitMacao #MacaoTravel #LuxuryTravel #TravelAsia by @wanderlustinglaura
🏢 Safe to say the ceiling painters at The Venetian deserve a raise. Fr though, I actually forgot I was indoors for a second. 😭💀 Drop a 🏛️ if you’ve been here and got totally disoriented by the fake sky. #TheVenetian #FakeVenice #TravelHumor #VegasVibes #MacauTravel InsideOrOutside TravelReels by @wanderlustinglaura
Venice, Italy? No, Venice, Macao (air-conditioned edition) Expanding my cultural horizons today by visiting a flawless replica of an Italian city built purely to distract me from the fact that I’m inside a giant casino. 🎰🛶 The ceiling tells me it’s a beautiful afternoon, but my watch tells me I’ve been breathing recycled air for six hours. 10/10 execution. #MacauTrip #VenetianMacao #FakeVenice #CasinoLife CotaiStripMacau WanderlustAsia TravelSarcasm MallLife UnrealVibes ExploreMacau InstagramCaptions Gondola by @wanderlustinglaura
POV: You took a 3 hour flight from Bangkok but somehow ended up in Italy. ✈️🇮🇹✨ Welcome to The Venetian Macao, where you can literally cruise down a grand canal on an authentic Italian gondola—completely indoors. 🚣‍♂️💙 The ceiling is painted with an open blue sky that never gets cloudy, the architecture mimics the real streets of Venice, and yes, the gondoliers actually serenade you while they row! 🎶 If you’re planning a trip to Macau, this is an absolute must-visit (even if you’re just dropping in for the vibes and the famous Lord Stow’s egg tarts nearby!). 🎒 SAVE THIS REEL for your ultimate Macau bucket list! 👇 Tag the person you want to go on a gondola ride with! 📍 The Venetian Macao, Cotai Strip #MacauTravel #TheVenetianMacao #MacauTrip #VisitMacau #GondolaRide VeniceInAsia TravelPOV BucketListTravel TravelReels by @wanderlustinglaura

🍟 SAVE THIS if you’re coming to China and have a soft spot for the BIG GOLDEN ARCHES! 🇲🇴🍔 Well, well, well… even McDonald’s gets a touch of luxury in MACAU! 😂 📍 I’m inside the absolutely enormous Venetian Macao, surrounded by grand architecture, indoor canals and designer shops… and what do I find? A bloody McDonald’s! 🍟🤣 But is a Macau Maccies any different from back home? OH YES! 🇲🇴 The menus have some interesting Asian twists, including: 🍗 Spicy chicken wings and crispy chicken 🍜 Twisty pasta in broth for BREAKFAST! 🍔 Grilled chicken burgers 🌽 Sweetcorn cups instead of your usual fries 🍦 Plus regional and seasonal sweet treats! Of course, you can still get your trusty Big Mac, but where’s the adventure in that?! And yes, Macau is part of China, but it’s a Special Administrative Region with its own McDonald’s menu, so don’t expect exactly the same choices on the mainland! 💬 Are you one of those people who HAS to try McDonald’s in every country, or wouldn’t dream of eating it on holiday? 😂 📌 Save this for your Macau adventure and tag your Maccies-loving travel mate! #Macau #VenetianMacao #McDonalds #ChinaTravel #MacauFood by @wanderlustinglaura

📌 SAVE THIS! 🍜🇹🇭 It’s a MUST-TRY dish in Thailand! One of my absolute FAVOURITE Thai dishes, and tonight I’m constructing my very own bowl of Khao Soi (ข้าวซอย) for dinner! 😍 📍 EmQuartier Food Hall, Lower Ground Floor, Bangkok 💰 Just 150 baht! If you’ve never tried Khao Soi, you’re seriously missing out! Think rich, creamy coconut curry broth, soft egg noodles, crunchy crispy noodles, pickled mustard greens, shallots, fresh lime and a little chilli kick! 🤤🌶️ Originating from Northern Thailand, Khao Soi is especially famous in Chiang Mai, but luckily you can find this little bowl of heaven right here in Bangkok! And the best bit? You get to add all those delicious toppings yourself. My kind of dinner! 😋 📌 Save this for your next trip to Bangkok! Now tell me… is Khao Soi the BEST noodle dish in Thailand, or have you got another favourite I need to try? 👇 #KhaoSoi #BangkokFood #ThaiFood #BangkokEats #ThailandTravel by @wanderlustinglaura
