no sunday scaries, just soul & smoothies 🍇

welcome to dysregulation diaries — a passion project that has lived in the drafts for far too long 🙈🗣️

truthfully the flights and festivities are great, but the quiet moments in between travels dictate your quality of life — not to mention your capacity for mindful presence & wholehearted enjoyment the next time you’re lucky enough to live a bucketlist moment 👏🏼

so let this series be a reminder that small acts of self love and holistic self care go a long way…
start today, and thank yourself tomorrow 🫶🏼

the undeniable charm of Amsterdam 💐

as a lover of flowers, rivers, and bicycles (plus gardening, iykyk 😋) I have been trying to make my way to the Netherlands for what feels like forever -

so where better to begin this years Euro summer adventure?! 🛩️

safe to say this gem of a city did nottttt disappoint as my first destination 🤩🥰

while I had only 48 hours to enjoy and explore Amsterdam, it honestly took less than 24 for me to fall completely in love ❤️‍🔥

Without a doubt, I will be back … and if it’s not on your travel bucket list - I highly recommend you change that 🫶🏼🇳🇱

nowhere I’d rather be to kick off the szn ⛵️

spending every summer solstice with family (enjoying the longest day of the year together at lake winni 🥹), is a tradition I treasure no matter where the rest of my summer travels take me *hint hint, cough cough, the itinerary is pretty far from New England this year* 😜

so stay tuned to see why I’ve been so busy that you’re just now seeing my inaugural summer post 🙈✈️

ps, if you noticed the pine needle in my hair (authenticity baby) … no you didn’t 😂🫶🏼🤪 by @wanderwellbykell

fate & fortune favor the fearless ‼️

it’s crazyyy to think about what I would’ve missed had I let fear influence this trip 🇨🇴💎

truthfully, kicking off 2025 in Cartagena was pure magic ❤️‍🔥✨ and none of it could’ve happened if I didn’t set aside the mainstream fear around Colombia/South America travel 🙃

MANY of my loved ones weren’t enthused (and a few were full on terrified) by my dream trip for NYE this year - but the hard truth is that there is danger everywhere… thankfully there’s also kindness, love, and friendship to be found everywhere too 💌

solo travel doesn’t have to be scary - just keep a good head on your shoulders when you adventure into the world, be thankful for the wonderful people you meet along the way, and always choose not to fear the unknown 🫶🏼

comment your favorite simple self care habits 🌞

no matter how busy you are, there will always be opportunities to prioritize holistic wellness - you just have to be living mindfully enough to recognize these little moments of opportunity when they appear 👀

when we’re in autopilot mode it’s easy to feel like there’s really no time, no way to prioritize self care…

but the more we slow down and focus on being present/aware in every waking minute, the more we can see all the chances we have to honor our bodies and our beings 🙌🏼

as you start your week, remember every small action adds up to make a big difference in your wellbeing -

so stretch often, eat well, get outside, breathe mindfully, sleep more, drink lots of water, move intentionally, and don’t forget to be still sometimes 🫶🏼
