I joined a travel team in October 2024 thinking it would just help me travel smarter… and it ended up changing my entire life. ✨✈️

What started as a simple decision turned into a second income from just travelling, a community of women I now talk to daily (more than my own family 🤭), and memories I never thought were possible.

Since joining, I’ve traveled abroad 6 times, taken 3 overnight trips with these amazing women, and experienced a level of freedom and support I didn’t even know I was missing.
Sometimes I think about how different my life would be if I hadn’t said yes.
My 2025 looked nothing like my 2024, and I already know my 2026 is going to be even better than 2025. Not many people can truly say that and I’m so grateful I can.
Here’s to traveling smarter, growing together, creating income, and squeezing as many trips as possible into 2026. 🌍✨

I didn’t join for flashy cars or designer labels.
I joined to travel smarter.

Full-time job.
Two boys.
A life that doesn’t pause.

Somewhere along the way, I realised this could give me something far more valuable than things.

Time.
Choice.
Freedom.

The freedom to not ask permission to collect my baby boy from school 💙
That’s what I’m building — slowly, intentionally, and with purpose.

POV: I used to go on holidays to collect fridge magnets, now I collect teddy bears for the youngest 🧸✈️
Over the last 12 months, I've brought a teddy home from Prague, Stockholm, Fuerteventura, Naples, Krakow, New York City and Marrakech.

2 years in the travel platform… where has the time gone?!😱

When I joined back in October 2024, I honestly had no idea where this journey would take me or all the amazing experiences that would come with it. 🥹

The places I’ve been, the events I’ve attended and, most importantly, the people I’ve met along the way have made these last 2 years so special. ❤️🌎

One thing I never expected was the community and the friendships I’d make since joining. The support, the laughs, the memories and the friendships mean more to me than I can put into words.

These ladies are my people, and I honestly never imagined I’d find friendships like these through joining a travel platform. 🥹❤️

From Killashee to London, team events, training days, meet-ups and all the little moments in between, there have been so many memories made and so much personal growth along the way.

Balancing it all alongside a full-time job and family life isn't always easy, but I'm so glad I took that first step and gave this a chance.

Two years on, I'm still learning, still growing and still working towards my goals, and I can't wait to see what the next chapter brings. ✈️✨

Sometimes saying yes to something new brings you so much more than you ever expected. And for me, the friendships and the people I've met have been a huge part of that. ❤️

Mam to mam… before you book your winter NYC trip, you need to see how I booked mine on a budget!

New York at Christmas is just magical, and getting to see Santa in Macy’s is an absolute MUST!
Seeing the magic through the kids’ eyes makes it all so worth it!

But as mams, we want to make those memories without spending more than we need to!

If you love Christmas, you NEED to get too Penneys right now.

I only went in for a little look at the Christmas decorations… and of course that turned into “I need everything” 😂

So many gorgeous decorations, cosy Christmas bits and little touches to make the house feel festive.

Christmas really is the most magical time of the year.

I don't know the exact formula for happiness but a window seat and a destination ahead is a good start.

A few years ago I kept saying "I'd love to travel more someday."

Now I'm sitting above the clouds already thinking about the next trip.

The funny thing is no matter how many flights I take I'm still the same Irish mammy wondering if I left something plugged in at home 😂

But for now the washing can wait, the emails can wait and I'm going to enjoy the view. by @wanderwithmegetaways
