First WunderLust Adventures trip in the books!

A winter weekend in the backcountry with fresh air, snowy adventures, good food, and an awesome group of people. Staying in a cozy yurt made the whole experience even better. I seriously had the most fun planning, prepping, and hosting this trip and it made me even more excited for everything that is ahead. The yurt was a solid 10/10 and now I’m convinced everyone needs to add a yurt trip to their outdoor bucket list.

Huge thank you to @goingoutdoorsco for helping guide the trip and making it such a great experience.
Thank you to @pingoragear for donating bags and supporting the vision.
And of course thank you to everyone who joined the trip and made the weekend so special.

This is just the beginning. More adventures coming soon. If you are ever up for one, you know who to call! by @wanderwithwunder

In case you missed it, @wanderwithwunder and @goingoutdoorsco are hosting a backcountry trip, and it’s almost here!

A weekend in the backcountry with good snow, good food, and good people.

Feb 27–Mar 1 we’re hosting a yurt weekend in the Uintas, and we are really excited to bring this group together. We’ll ski or snowshoe during the day, then come back to a cozy space, good meals, and time to slow down.

The trip is $450, fully guided, and all-inclusive (except personal gear). Limited spots available.

I get a lot of ā€œYou get to travel all the time, it must be amazing!ā€ comments. And while I’m beyond grateful, let me be real - it’s NOT all sunshine and rainbows. A lot of travel days include delays, cancelled flights, and (many) tears. Like today, when I slept through my alarm and missed my flight.

So, if you’ve ever had a travel day that made you want to scream, here’s my best advice:

1. You can’t change the past - so stop trying. If the delay is your fault, stop the ā€œIf I had justā€¦ā€ thoughts. It happened. Accept it and focus on what YOU can do next. Be proactive.

2. Be your own problem solver. You can’t always rely on others to fix things. Check flights, look up train routes, consider renting a car. Being resourceful pays off!

3. Talk to someone who knows more. Airline staff, hotel receptionists, gate agents. They have access to info you don’t. Even if they can’t fix everything, they might point you in the right direction. Also, be nice to them. Kindness goes a long way! (sometimes for your benefit)

4. Ask for what you need, even if the answer might be no. Don’t be afraid to request a hotel voucher, meal credit, or better rerouting. The worst they can say is no, and sometimes, you’ll get a yes.

5. Be okay with being uncomfortable for a bit. Travel isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes you’ll be stuck in an airport for hours, running on no sleep, eating an overpriced granola bar. It sucks, but it’s temporary.

6. Most importantly: BE SAFE. Especially for my fellow female travelers! Trust your gut, don’t wander alone at night, and if spending extra money keeps you safe, do it. Your safety is always worth more than an overpriced Uber.

At the end of the day, travel isn’t about the perfect Instagram photos—it’s about learning, adapting, and rolling with the punches.

Traveling is the best thing in the world!
Hiccups and delays happen, but don’t let them ruin your love for exploring.
If you ever need travel advice or a listening ear, I got you! My DMs are always open.

Hi, I’m Grace Wunder—founder, full-time explorer, and your personal guide to the most epic adventures! If there’s one thing I live for, it’s travel that makes you feel alive—the kind that pushes you out of your comfort zone, introduces you to incredible people, and leaves you with stories you’ll be telling for a lifetime.

That’s exactly why I started WunderLust Adventures—to help adventurous souls like you and I experience the world in a way that’s exciting, immersive, and full of moments you’d never expect. We’re all about bucket-list adventures without the stress, and whether you’re chasing waterfalls, paragliding over the Alps, or exploring a new city, I’ll be right there making sure you have the trip of a lifetime.

A Few Wild Travel Facts About Me:
Craziest Travel Experience: The time I was surfing WITH sea turtles! I popped up on my board, looked down, and BOOM—sea turtles gliding right next to me like we had planned a surf session together. It was surreal, magical, and made me feel like I was in a nature documentary.

Most Unique Meal Abroad: Duck liver in Paris. BIG respect to French cuisine, but… never again. I’m all for trying new things, and while I can’t say I loved it, at least I can say I survived it! (10/10 would still recommend eating your way through France—just maybe stick to croissants.)

Favorite Destination: CHAMONIX, FRANCE. THE BEST PLACE EVER! I spent two of the best weeks of my life there, and I’m already planning to move there part-time within the next year. It’s an adventure-lover’s paradise—skiing, hiking, mountaineering—you name it. Waking up to the Alps every morning is actual motivation in mountain form, and if you haven’t been yet, just trust me—it’ll change your life.
