100+ bathrooms later… this one’s still my favorite.
Mid-reno, but you can already see the vision: soaking tub, heated floors, walk-in shower, and color-changing lights for whatever mood you’re in.
Balcony swing chair included—because emotional support while bathing is a real thing šŸ˜„
Swipe to the chaos → almost a year later → worth it. More of the house soon 😌

Two years ago, Wonderfruit was pure party mode for me — out till 8am, sleep all day, then run it back at night.

This year? I flipped the whole script: wellness retreat mode.
Early mornings. Home by midnight. Daytime programming — yoga, sound baths, breathwork, growth workshops, deep dance meditation, and a lot of learning that actually stuck with me.

I was almost sober the entire time… and I’m honestly surprised how much fun I had. It felt more rewarding, more real, and way more connected.

And the music moments that hit the deepest:
✨ @keraladust at sunset — unreal.
✨ @eduardocastilllo - spiritual… like I got transported somewhere holy for a minute.
✨ Meditation with @kanhoyakushiji_kissaquo (Heart Sutra set) — electric. Never thought mantra singing could be that cool lol.
šŸ˜‚ Shoutout to The @thevegetableorchestra — you’ll never go hungry when they’re playing.

Then I randomly ran into an old friend, @sagebava , in the Enchanted Forest — watching her sing and play guitar… pure magic.

Also: the FOOD. So good. Fresh coconut water everywhere. I’d go just for that. 🄄

Who’s down for Wonderfruit next year?

Many years ago, I discovered a song called ā€˜Midnight Sun’ by Isaac Delusion. At the time, I didn’t even know this natural phenomenon existed. Despite witnessing the Northern Lights in Iceland, I’d never heard of the Midnight Sun. As someone who loves the sun and summer, it’s surprising I hadn’t experienced it until now.

One month ago, my brother @nickeee009 decided he wanted to celebrate his birthday with a hiking trip in Norway. As he announced his plans, a tune echoed in my mind – that song, ā€˜Midnight Sun’. I was instantly on board.

So, we embarked on nocturnal hikes, from 8 PM to 2 AM, bathed in the unending daylight. The sight of the sun - not setting, but dancing around us, flirting with the horizon for hours in a seemingly endless golden hour - was nothing short of magical.

I’ve seen stunning mountains around the globe, from the world’s tallest peaks to America’s highest points. But hiking under the midnight sun was a unique, dreamlike experience that can’t be compared to anything else.

I can’t help but feel grateful for such unforgettable moments. Here’s to many more adventures under the sun - midnight or otherwise! šŸŒˆā˜€ļø taken in Lofoten, Norway by @wanderyuan

At the start of the year, my brother Retta cooked up a challenge so spicy, I nearly choked on my Dirty Martini- a bodybuilding competition. My first reaction was laughter. The thought of me, shiny with tanning oil on a stage, seemed like a funny SNL sketch.

But truthfully, this wasn’t just about bodybuilding. It turned into a wild ride where I had to face my own limits. I mean, who wants to be like jello on stage? But then, something unexpected happened. I was doing 30 push-ups and lifting a 100-pound dumbbell with each arm - stuff I never imagined I could do! Turns out, the fear of embarrassing yourself in public can turn you into a workout WARRIOR. Who knew, right?

So, here’s a nugget of wisdom from my journey: When a friend dares you to go beyond your comfort zone - always accept with a big ā€˜HELL YES!’ Because shared experiences are the cornerstone of true friendship. Here’s to overcoming, to strength beyond muscle, and to being ready for whatever surprises life throws our way. šŸ’Ŗ taken in New York, New York by @wanderyuan

It has been an adventurous year in 2022 full of lows and highs, both literally and figuratively. From trekking thru lowest point on earth in The Dead Sea to an expedition to Mount Everest. Wonderful adventures and heartbreak.

Unforgettable Memories are created with people you adore, and no one ever regrets spending more quality time with people you love.

2023, I am looking forward to meet you!

Special thanks to people who spiced up my life, and let’s continue our expeditions around the galaxy. taken in Mount Everest, Himalayas by @wanderyuan

As a kid, my dream was to visit every country in the world. Then I realized how hard that dream was as an adult. Like any sensible human, I quickly narrow down my dream from being an astronaut to visiting every New Seven Wonders of the World. I finally accomplished this achievable dream early this year. taken in Seven Wonders of the World by @wanderyuan

COVID has taught me traveling doesn’t require a passport. Sometime the best waterfall is only 5 hours away so drive fast my friends and you might catch a drop before turning into ice this winter.

Of course bring me with you; I will be your professional photographer šŸ˜‰

As an immigrant from Taiwan who came to America (initially, Rome, Georgia of all places!) at age 16, without speaking a word of English, I thought I would never become an American. Oh boy, I was wrong! Fast forward many, many years and yes I am a proud American now.Ā Ā Life without ups and downs is not worth living, but, as humans, we would rather live in the ups of life, wouldn’t we?
Last month I moved into my new place in Gramercy, with so many hopes and dreams to create a safe space for people to connect in a meaningful way; I never imagined myself, as the 16-year-old boy from Taiwan without my family, would ever live this American Dream. I had a housewarming party on March 14th, 2020 surrounded by many people who I love and adore… I felt I was in heaven!

Two days later the world went to **** Quarantine Week One - back to work!
Job one, find masks. Yeah finding masks can’t be too hard right? Just look on Amazon! Turns out, it would be easier to catch a unicorn... Oh, wait there are no unicorns OR masks in the USA?! Well, where can I find it? Oh, I speak the same language as the world’s largest mask factory?! The next day, I consulted my brother-in-law in Shenzhen and he agreed to help me to bring masks to NYC.Ā Ā Not all factories created equal and there are a lot of non-FDA approved factories out there.Ā Ā My brother-in-law examed many masks with me on facetime and we finally found one fit all our checkboxes. On April 2nd those masks magically appeared at my door from the other side of the world.Ā Ā Since then we have distributed to the COVID task force, MTA transit union, hospital and friends.
Now back to my heritage again, I have been blessed living in NYC and even my teenage years in Rome GA; I have never felt racism towards me. I don’t see race, I only see people and this virus is a war against people. We are here together to fight one war and one war only - that is ALL PEOPLE vs the virus.Ā Ā From the news, you do see one or two bad actors out there, but, most people are good, genuine and giving.Ā Ā This probably is the toughest event we will ever faced in our generation, let’s try to make a difference.Ā Ā ONE DAY WE CAN HUG A STRANGER AGAIN AND I CAN’T WAIT by @wanderyuan
