We’re coming! Hosting our very first public cupping on the east coast but not only that, it’s in the Big Apple!

We’ll be cupping all of our single origins beans. If you haven’t been to a cupping before heres your chance! It’s similar to a wine tasting but with coffee. Everyone is welcome!

Brown Sugar Black Sesame Matcha Latte

I’ve been posting a ton about coffee but here I am releasing a matcha drink recipe 🥴 I also use the black sesame milk base with a double-shot espresso.

This recipe makes a 10-12oz drink including ice

4.5g Matcha by @nakamura_tokichi_official
Using Sho-No Mukashi
2oz water

6oz Milk of Choice
20g Black Sesame Paste
1/2 oz Brown Sugar Syrup

A collab by @SeyCoffee x @drinkPlayCoffee - a roaster known by many across the world & a coffee shop who highlights a ton of different roasters across the world. With a collab like this, it definitely feels right.

I had the pleasure to stop by Play Coffee in Orange. It’s an amazing space to find and drinkcoffee from so many roasters. I think with so many roasters already, it’s a nice change to enter a space where they highlight other roasters.

A recommendation by my cousin, I was able to get some great @haancoffeeroaster beans in Orlando, FL. The Apple Co-Ferment is currently on my bean rotation and it’s really good. Can’t wait to actually go to the coffee shop to see what they do with their drinks.

Found @tomodachi.coffee in a coffee shop in Eagle Rock, CA called @loopespressoclub. Specializing in beans regions from Colombia & Timor-leste. I got to try their Jam Session and that was sweet and juicy. Can’t wait to see what their team does next.

Coffee hobby-ist, now full-time coffee nerd. Won’t be starting a roaster anytime soon because there’s SO many amazing ones but I’m just happy to be able to taste SOOOO MANY BEANS.

Bright, bold, clarity, sharp, juicy, sweet or whatever you’re trying to get out of your cup of Joe, it all comes down depending on your brewer, the filter you choose & the grind size.

These are all the tools I own. Super happy about my collection so far and can’t wait to add a few more hehe.

Different brewers achieve different tingz. My current favorite is the @ufocoffeetools UFO v2 w/ @hariousa switch base. Combining immersion brewing & fast pour over brew method.

I’ll be releasing a Google doc soon to breakdown what brewer does what and I’ll add links where to purchase etc.

I am also obsessed with the artwork by @debstep.dobstop & @helen.chennnnn! If you’re looking for Geshas and other interesting flavors, they are it!

@buddybuddy a nut butter coffee shop/roaster here in NYC, originally started in EU. I was thrown off by the nut butter - so I never thought to step in to the shop. Come to find out they have amazing varieties of coffee beans from Costa Rica to Colombia. Here are the few beans I’ve picked up that’s being stored in my freezer right now.
