Sonntag 5.Juli 2026: kein Ticket mehr nach Erfurt zu @widersetzen bekommen🚌💥? Nicht auf dem CSD🌈, weil lieber am 4.7. beim @dykemarchcologne 💜 und zur @radicalpridecologne 🦄 am 18.7.?! ...dann kommt zu unserem Südfest☀️. Der Eintritt ist frei! Ab 15h im Hof und Foyer des FWT: es gibt nen Ausblick auf die nächste Spielzeit, gekühlte Wassermelone 🍉, drinks und selbstgebackenen Kuchen🥧. ❣️Highlight❣️ @klausdergeiger (86), Koryphäe der politischen Straßenmusik, widerständiger Demonstrant, der kölsche Moondog, kommt zu uns!!! Als exzellent ausgebildeter Musiker hat er irgendwann die bürgerliche Musikkultur hinter sich gelassen und Protestlieder auf unzähligen Demos für ein gutes Leben für alle auf der Straße gespielt und gesungen. Er wird ein paar seiner Lieder spielen, hier und da fideln @affensista und ein junger Bassist mit und Klaus wird uns aus seinem spannenden Leben erzählen. Das Team des FWT: mit @dana_peterpan , @jaschasommer und Guido wird über Utopien und deren Umsetzung im Theater reden und @affensista , unsere Stadtdramaturgie, wird berichten, was ab September im neu gestalteten Foyer geht✨. THIS WEEKEND 💥 Focus On: TIPPING POINTS MADE IN CHINA Performance Von/by Wang Chong Wann/When: Sa, 04.07. / 20 Uhr So, 05.07. / 18 Uhr EN We can’t really tell you what this show is about. Why the mystery? Well, we can’t really tell you that either. So, what can we tell you? We can tell you that this performance is an intimate and unexpected solo about creative risk-taking. Wang Chong finds himself alone on stage presenting a personal manifesto about the role of the artist and provocateur in uncertain times..This work premiered in Boston in 2023 and has had more than 60 performances in countries on six continents. DE Wir können nicht wirklich sagen, worum es in dieser Arbeit geht. Wozu diese Geheimniskrämerei? Diese Frage können wir auch nicht wirklich beantworten. Was aber können wir sagen? Diese Performance ist ein überraschendes Solo über kreative Risikobereitschaft. Wang Chong findet sich selbst alleine auf einer Bühne wieder und präsentiert ein persönliches Manifest über die Rolle von Künstlerinnen und Provokateurinnen in unsicheren Zeiten. Seit der Premiere tourte das Stück durch 12 Länder und sechs Kontinente und war 2025 beim internationalen Forum des Berliner Theatertreffens zu sehen. FOCUS ON: TIPPING POINTS ⁠ Introducing: Wang Chong💥⁠ ⁠ EN: Wang Chong is the founder of Théâtre du Rêve Expérimental, a Beijing-based performance group. He is the most internationally commissioned Chinese theatre director, with his works performed in over 20 countries, gaining critical acclaim across the globe. Wang Chong radically reimagines classical and contemporary literature, combining experimental modes of spectatorship with multimedia strategies to produce critical—often confrontational—commentaries on modern Chinese history. His works include: The Warfare of Landmine 2.0, winning 2013 Festival/Tokyo Award; “Lu Xun”, noted by The Beijing News as The Best Chinese Performance of 2016; “Teahouse 2.0”, winning One Drama Award The Best Little Theater Performance of 2017; and “Asia Weeks”, premiered in 2026 at Theater Heidelberg.
