Our cover of "Falling Slowly" by the late great Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (aka The Swell Season) is out on streaming services! After the devastating news of Glen's passing, we got together for our weekly meet-up and decided the best way to process the news and pay tribute would be to record our own take on this song on a whim.

We called up Aaron who made it over to the studio within 20 mins, and the 3 of us worked through the arrangement together live in the room and recorded what we did. We then sent that over to our friend Megan Joy, who graciously laid down some vocals to complete the duet and sent it back to us the next day, and that was that!

You can find it everywhere you stream your music, and on our website too. Links to all in bio!

Our cover of “Falling Slowly” will hit streaming next week, but you can hear it right now on our website. ❤️

In tribute to the late, great Glen Hansard, we got together on a whim and recorded our own version of the song he wrote with Markéta Irglová. It features @megarad lending her unmatched vocal talent for a duet with @joel_m_pack, @aaronthechild laying down some beautiful cello, and @ryansanders31 on acoustic guitar. More details coming when the song hits streaming services.

While you’re there, take a look around our shiny new website! We’ve got new merch, music, videos, a mailing list, and of course, a retro arcade basketball game because we’re nerds like that. 🏀😂

Come try to beat our high scores and get an early listen to the cover song at wardwhispersmusic.com or through the link in our bio.

Hope you enjoy it!! by @wardwhispers

Featuring the great @aaronthechild on cello to bring the extra goosebumps, and cover art drawn by Joel's daughter Margo. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there bending over backwards to help keep their kids safe, happy, and loved. 🥰

New song “Father” out tomorrow! Just in time to use it as the soundtrack to all’s y’all’s Father’s Day stories this weekend!

We stayed up way too late last night making this live video at the studio. Ryan played Hammond for the first time ever, and we sampled some strings courtesy of Aaron Child, who was in Houston and couldn’t make it out IRL.
Stoked for you to check out the full studio version tomorrow, on Fri June 19th! by @wardwhispers
