Wooster ’31

I am proud to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at The College of Wooster!

First, I’d like to thank my family. Without the support of my mom, dad, and sister, I wouldn’t be the person or player I am today. A special thank you to my dad for the countless car rides and flights to tournaments over the years. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you to all of the coaches who have supported me throughout this journey. To my coaches at Deep South Thrashers, thank you for helping me develop as a player. To all of my coaches at Woodward - Coach Vance, Coach Milton, Coach Overman, and Coach Coats - thank you for believing in me, encouraging me to work hard, and challenging me to be my best. Your support both on and off the field has helped shape me into the student athlete I am today.

To all of my teammates, both at Deep South Thrashers and Woodward, thank you for pushing me every day and making the past several years so memorable. I’m grateful for every practice, game, tournament, and memory we’ve shared together.

Lastly, I’d like to thank Coach Seideman and Coach Pille for believing in me and giving me the incredible opportunity to continue playing the game I love. I’m extremely grateful and can’t wait to get started!

Congratulations to 2027 Benjie Burns on his commitment to continue his academic and lacrosse career at Rhodes College!

Benjie joined our program in 2026 and made an immediate impact for our 2027 Red team. His presence and play helped make our group better from day one, and we’re excited to see him continue his playing career at the next level.

Congratulations, Benjie! 🦅
