Thankful Thursday with Sharon & Kathleen at the office today!

We shipped out 8 big boxes! We sent boxes of hats & scarves to St. Benedict Health and Healing in CO, Found A Way Foundation for seniors, and Euless Public Library(2) for their Made With Love Event, we shipped child blankets to My Stuff Bags Foundation in CA, a box of lap blankets to a highschool in TX and Found A Way Foundation for seniors. We also sent a box of 500 sections to a joiner in GA! It was a busy but fantastic day! Thank you for your incredible support ❤️ by @warmupamerica

New Campaign: 2,500 Sections for Yarnsgiving!

Warm Up America! is teaming up with the Craft Yarn Council to spread warmth and kindness this season. From I Love Yarn Day, through Giving Tuesday, 12/1, we’re inviting makers everywhere to knit or crochet 7"x9" sections that will be joined into lap blankets for people in need.

Please use #4 (medium worsted weight) acrylic yarn for these sections and write "Yarnsgiving" on the campaign line on your donation form. Please make sure to weave in all the tails/ends on the sections.

Help us meet our goal of 2,500 sections, which will be assembled into 100 lap blankets and then be distributed to various charities across the nation, like Saber Healthcare. Find patterns and details here: https://warmupamerica.org/yarnsgiving-wua/ by @warmupamerica

Diane and Patricia were our amazing volunteers who opened & logged all of your beautiful donations yesterday ❤️

We sent out 6 big boxes of comfort! We shipped baby blankets and baby hats to Russell Medical in AL and Coping With Laryngomalacia, Inc. In NJ, we sent boxes of lap blankets to Caris Healthcare in MO and Seniors First in CA, a box of various items to GRACE Grapevine and a box of 500 sections to a joiner in TX! We hope you enjoy this video of the incredible blankets we received this week! Happy Tuesday 😊 We had such a busy day at the WUA! Office with Bill, Dee & Jeanne! We received sooo many beautiful items!

We shipped out 7 boxes of warmth! We sent adult blankets to Sinani Grace Hospital in MI, a box of veteran blankets to SGT Quintanilla for the TX veterans drive, a box of child blankets to Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic Hospital, and a box of baby blankets & baby hats and a box of lap blankets to Parkland Health in TX! We also sent boxes of 500 to joiners in TX & KY! Thank you for your incredible support ❤️
