I’ve always struggled to tie a decent #BeastFleye, but told myself in 2026 I’m going to get the hang of them. My first one will fish but definitely not worthy to show off to the tying community. This one however I feel pretty proud of and know Bob Pop would approve. We are so lucky to have his tying knowledge passed down onto us. Fleyes and fleye caught fish from 2025. Good to see some put to use and others still sitting in my box waiting for their time. Funny to think this time last year I drove to work with all my Fleyes sitting on the roof of my car and slowly realizing (over several days) that the box had been ran over and my creations were in all the neighbors yards. Whoops. Well what a fun year to rebuild the box and get the creative juices going while being inspired by the bucktail tying community. I can’t wait for the @theflyfishingshow at Edison to see what everyone has been up to. I sure do love this. by @warneeee

Surfing #stripedbass over the holiday weekend. I couldn’t find them with my eyes from the beach and figured it was a ghost town.
