On August 6th, 2019, I took my first bow in Hamilton. Today, as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of this revolutionary piece of theater, I also celebrate 6 years since I stepped into the room where it happens.

I always say this show was my grad school, it taught me how to carry myself as a man, how to move through this industry with grace and discipline, and most importantly, it gave me a chosen family I’ll cherish forever.

Thank you, a thousand times over, to @lin_manuel @patrickvassel @tiffanynicholegreene @danceism @ablankenbuehler Kail, Lac, and MG for trusting a scrappy 22-year-old kid from Cleveland with a role that has changed my life. Hamilton remains, in my heart, the single greatest piece of musical theater in history, and I don’t say that lightly.

To the many castmates I’ve had the honor of sharing the stage with, thank you for loving me, challenging me, teaching me, and seeing me. Some of you poured into me in ways I’ll never forget.

Getting to perform this show across North America has been one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me, and I’ve been blessed to live inside this legacy for 6 of its 10 years. I will never take that for granted.

Here’s to HAMILTON, to 10 years of history, legacy, and love. And to many more. @hamiltonmusical
