Sometimes God puts you through things just to help you grow.

I didn’t understand everything I was going through and honestly I still don’t.

But looking back I see how much it changed me. My mindset. My faith. The way I look at life.

Not every setback is a bad thing. Sometimes God is just preparing you for what’s next.

February is Rare Disease Awareness Month

I’m a transverse myelitis warrior. Being diagnosed changed my life but it didn’t stop me. Every day I’m learning, fighting, and getting stronger.

Tranverse Myeletis changed my whole life in a moment. One day I was walking and hooping like normal the next I was fighting just to stand.

The journey back hasn’t been easy.
Some days hurt.
Some days I didn’t feel strong.
But I kept moving
God and my parents carried me through the hardest parts.

Now when I look at how far I’ve come I’m proud of the fight in me.

If you don’t know Tranverse Myelitis is a rare spinal cord condition I was diagnosed with last December. The condition affects your spinal cord and can take away strength, ability to walk, and can affect your brain. Mines came over night but God, my parents, family, a lot of healthcare doctors, rehab, and hard work got me back. This is part of my comeback story.

Nobody really sees the behind the scenes part of healing.
The hospital trips.
The tests.
The MRIs… a lot of MRIs 😅

I’ve had scans back-to-back not because it’s fun (trust me 😂) but because they matter.

For those who don’t know I was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, a rare condition where your spinal cord gets inflamed and messes with how your brain talks to your body.

It can hit fast and change everything movement, feeling, balance, even your heart rate.

That’s why MRIs are so important 💡
They help doctors see what’s happening in my spine and brain, track my progress, and make sure I’m healing the way I should.

Every scan = more answers.
Every scan = one step closer.
