The second weekend of the Oregon Renaissance Faire. A great time for sure, despite the 90+ degree heat. This was the first time that I had brought a shield to Faire, and I think it worked quite well! 10mm EVA foam and 3mm Sintra board, plus canvas covering the front, and leather straps on back. BTW, anyone know who this stunning dragon lady is? And be sure to follow @theladyvictoria_, she plays that dulcimer beautifully! taken in Oregon Renaissance Faire by @warriorcos10

Rose City Comic Con 2025 was such a blast. It was the very first time that I brought 3 different cosplays to a con. My biggest highlights were enjoying all the craziness with my brother and meeting the awesome Katee Sackhoff! Enjoy these pics y'all, and lemme know your thoughts! by @warriorcos10

My updated samurai armor. The do (cuirass), sode (shoulders), kote (forearms), and suneate (shin guards) were all completely remade to be more historically accurate. This meant A TON of additional lacing especially on the chest and back, and custom padding (green open-cell foam wrapped in artificial silk) on the back of the shins. I also changed the attachment method of my haidate (armored skirt for the thighs) from a parachute buckle to a set of ropes super glued on. So. Much. Work!! But sooo worth it in the end! Thanks to @sksprops for the templates and awesome tutorials! by @warriorcos10
