Good morning I’m gonna keep this short as to not get emotional. Please enjoy some of my favorite moments over the past 10 years with some of my favorite people who’s been there through it all.
•
When I was 11 years old I hated my life. In foster care again not feeling loved and just extremely over it. I didn’t see life getting better at all. So I told myself if life’s not better by 21 it’s a wrap big dawg. I meant that.
•
On this day 10 years ago i woke up and decided that I had enough of life and no longer wanted to be here in the land of the living.
•
I ended up in the hospital with 125 staples and 78 Stitches between both forearms. Recovery was hard. 3 months in the Hospital and the other “HOSPITAL”🤭. Then another 7 months hiding from the world because I felt so alone and lost.
And I was.
•
During that time I found myself again. I decided I get to choose my friends and family moving forward. I decided that for the very first time in my life I’d “LIVE” cause surely it wasn’t my time.
•
And I did.
I told myself celebrate that victory every year and see where life has us on the 10. And well it’s the 10th year. 10 years later and I almost made the biggest mistake of what would’ve been my very short uneventful life.

I post this in celebration, in visibility and very loudly about how happy and joyous above all things for everyone in my Village. If we’ve shared even but a small amount of time together I thank you. If you’ve been there since the beginning thank you. If you’re just getting here thank you.

Mental health is important. No matter how much someone smiles or says they’re ok you never know what really may be going on.
•

Happy pride and happy Men Mental Heath month. If you know me personally or we talk a lot virtually. I love you so much.
