My love of all things home & garden. Cyprus 🇨🇾

Colour palette for eldest daughter’s room. It took me some time to figure out exactly what to do with this room. I hated the paint colour I chose originally and covered it up with wallpaper a little too hastily. Really it’s too cool toned but I can’t change it again! I knew the fabrics I wanted to use and with a little help from the lovely Ana from @the.decor.archive to bring it all together, I’m very excited to get started. by @warwickhouse_22

A different style of construction in Cyprus than I’m used to means rewiring at the drop of a hat is impossible. Rechargeable wall lights are the way forward. These are from @pookylights and they deliver to Cyprus 🙌 #cyprusinteriordesign #expatincyprus #cyprusdiy #heritageinteriors #kidsroomdecor by @warwickhouse_22

Very excited to get started making some changes in the kitchen and family living room. I’d reached the limit of my abilities and couldn’t put my finger on why the space wasn’t quite working. So, I enlisted the help of the lovely Ana from @the.decor.archive and she has expertly pointed me in the right direction. #cyprusinteriors #colourpalette #mediterranean #britsabroad #cyprusrealestate by @warwickhouse_22

The Bad & The Ugly
Whilst I would like to think that I made mostly good choices, inevitably there are things that I would change.
1. Girls’ bath: massive & takes valuable space from other rooms.
2. Marble stairs: supposedly treated with protective varnish. Full of stains after 2 weeks.
3. Floating bed: hotel aesthetic, terrible Feng Shui.
4. Counter tops: I went for the safe (and let’s face it, cheap-looking) choice. I wish I’d chosen something with more depth.
5. Master bath: inexplicably, we decided a massive shower that takes up literally half the room was a good idea. Now we’re fighting over a tiny sink space.
6. Kitchenette: could have been soooooo much prettier. I’d ran out of ideas by this point!
7. Guest bath: I have no words!
8. The bar: I like a drink as much as the next woman, but we don’t need all this storage & I don’t think the style blends with the rest of the house. by @warwickhouse_22

Time for our decking to get some TLC. Really, it needs replacing. For some reason it wasn’t installed in a staggered pattern so it’s really uneven. I’ll get round to it one day, maybe when we do the pergola…#cyprusinteriordesign #cyprusgarden #nicosıa #limassol #cyprusdiy by @warwickhouse_22

And the first project of 2026 has kicked off! Bedside table (@zarahome) and desk (@ikeacyprus) painted by @luaki.design.cyprus in @farrowandball ‘Oxford Stone’. We lined the drawers with @fleurharris ‘Woodlands’ wallpaper and jazzed up the desk with a ceramic knob and decorative trim. Now I’m attempting to make some sort of skirt for the desk by butchering a tablecloth - brb! #cyprusinteriordesign #cyprusdiy #cyprusarchitecture #classicinteriors #cyprus2026 by @warwickhouse_22
