“We started @wash_records because Cape Town has a truly unique sound that isn’t fully represented on the international scene. We wanted to create a platform for local artists and help them gain the global recognition they deserve.”

David has been part of Bazique for many years, and for the second Bazique in a row, his label Wash Records will be taking over the River Stage on Saturday night.

Watch till the end.

WASH Records - short for We Are Simple Humans - is the brainchild of Cape Town DJ duo @fogshow. Deeply rooted in the energy of the Mother City, the label is driven by a passion for curating and sharing Cape Town’s distinct sonic identity with the world.

After hosting standout artists from across the globe and officially launching the label in 2025, WASH Records steps into 2026 with serious momentum.

This year, they take over the Bazique River Stage on Saturday, headlined by @rafaelcerato_ofc and @floyd.lavine, delivering a full-spectrum journey of sound, rhythm, and intention.

We’re excited to welcome WASH Records and their artists to bring their vision and vibe to Bazique 2026.

Give them a follow ➡ @wash_records
