A little introduction for the next artist on Wash Records.

As an aperitif for the EP, he’s curated an hour of tunes that float in the same orbit as his own.

WASH002:
Dustin Bones - First Contact

It’s here! The follow up to our debut release is finally ready for you all to enjoy. In the time since the last project, we’ve listened to and made hours of music to produce another EP that we believe in as much as the first. We’re sure you will too.

Make sure to clean out your ears before listening ;)

🫧 Our first release is now available on Bandcamp 🫧

W001: Dustin Bones - Moonrocks EP

Our first release

Dustin Bones was specially selected for the Wash Records space program to explore the most distant moons of our solar system and report his findings for the benefit of all mankind.

This project chronicles his deep space exploration and celestial excavations where he dug up some of the finest galactic grooves and returned to earth with samples of the otherworldly tracks. We have analysed and compiled his findings into this extra terrestrial EP in an effort to better understand the music of our galactic neighbourhood.

Introducing: Wash Records 🫧

The idea for Wash first came about this time last year, in christmas of 2022. The last few years of hearing, collecting, and sharing electronic music with our friends motivated us to begin curating tracks that we felt deserved a platform.

Our focus is on quality over quantity; we’ve dug through many a discount bin to know we don’t want to add too many of ours to the piles out there already. We intend to only present tracks that we truly love and move us more than just on the dancefloor.

The name came to us after hearing someone describe the sounds from a bassbin Washing over them. This sentiment resonated with us and we decided to name the label as such. Since then, we’ve realised the potential cleaning power of a well crafted tune.

The right song at the right time really can clean out your insides and set you off renewed. So expect our first offering to blow the dust off your turntables better than any microfibre cloth could ever dream of. by @washrecords
