This week’s #whychiowednesday with @leilaheller27 ❤️💛

“Being in Chi Omega has been one of the best parts of my WashU experience. More than anything, I love the sisterhood and the friendships I’ve made along the way, especially with my gorgeous big, Sela, and my twin, Tzipora.
Some of my favorite memories come from our sisterhood events, whether we’re bedazzling or making bouquets together or even just studying together in Whispers Cafe. Those little moments always turn into a lot of laughter and leads us to know each other better. I love that Chi Omega continues to introduce me to new people and connections. It is a community where I feel like I belong and I love the support around every corner! 🤗🫂”

In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, here are some words from @kim3er1y_ !

“As a Mexican-American and first generation college student, going into college I never saw myself being a part of Greek life since I didn’t know much about sororities or if it was for me. However, I am glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and grateful for ChiO because of the friendships and memories I have made!

One of my favorite memories was the night of Big & Little reveal. My big Jaqueline and I went with my sisters to a Mexican restaurant, where we had one of our favorite drinks, horchata. We spent the night laughing and talking about random things and I loved being able to share a little part of my culture with my sisters.

My sisters have always embraced my culture and made me feel comfortable sharing that part of myself. I am proud to celebrate where I come from and grateful to have sisters who embrace my culture and make ChiO feel like home ❤️💛!!”

Happy #whychiowednesday from our sister Nadia Tanojo!

“If you told younger me that I’d join a sorority in the future, I would’ve been surprised. Then, my wonderful big Rocio reached out, and I caved immediately. From our first conversation alone, I fell in love with ChiO’s inspiring values and their dedication to their philanthropic works. The more sisters I met, the more my anxiety melted away. Everyone is insanely sweet and supportive from the get-go, so it was easy imagining myself as part of the group right away. Now, I enjoy the fun crafts nights we host and running into my friends and study buddies around campus. Joining Chi Omega is a decision I would make a thousand times over again”

With COB upon us, here are some words from @sierrscott and her journey in Chi Omega! 🤗🫶

“Joining Chi Omega through COB was a little scary at first. I wasn’t sure if Greek life was for me, and I worried that I would be missing out on core experiences since I didn’t go through formal recruitment. However, those worries quickly faded once I got to know my pledge class, and I realized that I had found my place. I wasn’t missing out on anything at all. Since the day I accepted my bid, I have felt welcomed, accepted, and supported. I would encourage anyone even considering COB to just give it a try. You might just find your place!”
