A sustainable wedding at Wasing doesn’t mean compromising on quality. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.

Our connection to the land means practising careful stewardship. We care for our soils and ecosystems, which support us growing healthy food, homegrown flowers and even fuel to heat our rooms. We do our best to work in harmony with nature to bring you the day of your dreams, in the most sustainable way we can.

This is more than a philosophy for us, it’s the basis on which we at Wasing live, grow and share.

The way the light filters into the Castle Barn is beautiful year-round.

We love Hortence and Jonathan’s choice to have trestle tables and delicately styled drapes.

These tables also look fabulous without tablecloths, for a warmer, more rustic look.

Ask our Weddings Team about the various table options when you come to take a look around.

We’re enjoying the last remnants of summer here at Wasing Park and across the wider estate.

The arrival of the autumn equinox has brought gentle changes. The colours are shifting, and sauna smoke drifts through the air.

We welcome the new season here. 🍂

The picturesque Parish Church of St Nicholas sits at the heart of Wasing Park.

A beautiful backdrop to your special day, and one of three unique on-site ceremony spaces to choose from.

Its stunning stained-glass windows, delicate plasterwork and wooden detailing are complemented here by the most beautiful floral arrangements.

Do you remember Anthony & Claire’s Garden Room ceremony flowers that we shared last month?

Well, here are Flowers by Helen Elizabeth’s beautiful blooms, repurposed to dress the Castle Barn for their stunning wedding breakfast.

Pastels with a touch of baby blue – a gorgeous combination.

Ode to our gardeners 💜

There’s something wonderfully considered about our gardens. Immaculately tended, yet never too perfect. A little wild, and very much teeming with life.

It’s a balance that takes skill, patience, and a huge amount of care.

So, an ode to our gardeners, and to the beautiful backdrop they create for our couples 🌿
