2014...
A little kid sitting with his family staying awake late into the night discovering what football truly felt like.

I watched the heartbreaks. The criticism. The tears. I never got to see Argentina lift a trophy.
Then 2021 happened... everything changed.

Copa America
Finalissima
The World Cup
Another Copa America
The 8th Ballon dor

We lived through the greatest redemption story football has ever written.
From Barcelona to PSG from Miami back to the biggest stage I've followed Messi everywhere because he gave me memories that will last forever...

Now it's the 2026 World Cup...
Messi has already given us magical nights hat-tricks, braces, moments that remind the world why he's one of the greatest to ever play this game.

But tonight feels different.
This could be his last World Cup match.
Whatever happens after the final whistle, thank you, Leo.
Thank you for giving a generation hope.
Thank you for making us believe.
Thank you for making football feel like magic.

One last time...

I started watching Messi in 2014 when I was just a kid watching the World Cup and cheering for this magician
... 🇦🇷🐐

Somewhere along the way football became a part of my life and Messi became a part of my childhood

I still remember that Brazil 2014 Messi-edition music can. Years ago my father kept it safe… and somehow today on the day Messi’s journey comes to an end I got that same can back in my hands... 🥹

A small piece of 2014 returned to me on the final chapter of Messi’s story

From watching him as a kid to watching his farewell today what a journey it has been...

Thank you, Leo 🤍
