Coming full circle to the very first serious watch in my collection - The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 116000.

It all began back in 2013 when I received this piece, and I’ve been hooked on watches ever since. I still remember the countless late nights during uni, researching all kinds of watches and devouring content from well known media such as Hodinkee, Revolution, aBlogtoWatch, watchuwant (Watchbox, the 1916 company), and the list goes on.

The Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 3998SR

Pink on Pink - Sigma Salmon dial, applied Breguet numerals and Breguet hands, 34mm case, Garrard’s Double Signed (on the back), LE to 150 pcs… what more could I ask for.

Not to mention it is NOS from 1993 and it came with literally everything. Inner and outer Box, hang tag, certificate of origin, extract from the archives, PP leather folder with manual and brochures, original invoice from Garrard and to top it all off newspaper & magazine cuttings from the period.
