FRIENDS OF MARSHALL ™ It was beyond an honour to be invited down to Marshall HQ by one of the head honchos himself, the legendary Steve Tannett, a man who has worked with everybody from R.E.M. to Black Sabbath. We saw (and badly played) George Michael’s piano, one of Lemmy Kilmister’s bass guitars, several of Slash’s amps, Billie Joe Armstrong’s new amp head, Tim Henson’s wall of cabs, the mixing desk used to produce everybody from The Rolling Stones to Thin Lizzy and so much more, including ‘Amp Number One’, the very first ever JTM45 component, without which none of their iconic line would even exist. We were treated to the most in-depth and interesting private tour we’ve ever had by the legendary Steve Hill, a 40+ year staple of Marshall, a man who is as humble as he is cool, having rubbed shoulders with everybody from THE Ozzy Osbourne to Lemmy. He had story after story about the iconic musicians that had passed through the doors of the studio, he himself is music royalty. We had the pleasure of being introduced to the extremely likeable Adam Beer, the mastermind and creator of the Marshall studio itself, its Studio Manager, Record Producer and Chief Engineer who has produced everybody there from The Molotovs to the Nova Twins, having had a hand in every Marshall record to ever exist out in the wild, his expertise and craft is second to none. We didn’t just see a brand at Marshall HQ, we saw a family. A community of like-minded individuals who are all intertwined, continually putting something out into the world that is crafted with expert attention and focus, from the factory desks to the shop floors, Marshall aren’t just a company ‘churning’ out amplifiers, equipment and records, they’re a company delivering performance, excellence and authenticity, still going strong 64+ years later. WE MADE PARTNER! 🤝✅ One of the very first goals that we discussed when we were conceptualising BSB TV was hitting ‘Partner’ on Twitch. Today, that dream has officially become a reality and we are honoured to share that milestone with all of you, everybody that has backed and believed in this platform and what we stand for, since day one. Us hitting this goal is not just a win for us as a platform and as individuals, it’s also a win for all of the bands and artists that we will be continuing to showcase to the key decision makers in the music industry, the number of opportunities that we can create and so, so much more. We set out to make a real change with the launch of this platform, so we’re honoured that Twitch has now recognised our present efforts, as well as our grand plans for the future. What a moment! 🤯 We honestly cannot thank @thejimriley enough for giving our platform a massive shoutout last night during @theghostinside’s set in Wolverhampton. When we launched BSB TV, we wanted to be able to create actual real-world opportunities and memories. Jim remembered Hell Can Wait from his time on the show and pulled the strings to get them to support TGI on one of their off-days during the Bad Omens tour, making good on the promise he made on the show. This is truly awesome. An example of a legacy artist recognising the hard work and talent of a rising band, extending their hand to lift them up. This is the side of the industry we love and this is our why. Hell Can Wait have been grinding, putting in the hours, upping their game consistently, so it was a real pleasure to watch this well deserved opportunity unfold.
