The Casio Duro MDV106B-1A

This thing has no business looking this good for the money. It’s got that classic, no-nonsense dive watch DNA - big bold indices, that slightly domed mineral crystal, the unidirectional bezel with the aluminum insert. On the black dial version, it’s just stealthy and sharp. It looks like it costs 3x what it does.

Yes, it’s listed at 44mm and on paper that sounds huge. In real life? It wears like a 41-42. The short lug-to-lug and how thin it is for a diver (like 12mm) means it actually hugs the wrist instead of perching on top of it like a hockey puck.
200m water resistance.
• Casio quartz that will run for years without thinking about it.
• The bezel action is better than it should be at this price. Is it the best dive watch under $100?
Yes. Prove me wrong.

Lightweight, that sunburst blue, and a bracelet that actually delivers. No battery, just light.
Box needs work, watch doesn’t.
